While Hammel isn’t known as a star, he has been very consistent throughout the season.
The Marlins have yet to announce a starting pitcher for this matchup. That’s an important piece of information as the game gets closer. Miami has some pretty good starting pitching, and if one of their more talented arms takes the ball, it will increase the team’s chance of pulling an upset.

The Marlins have a talented young core and hope to get to Hammel in this contest.

They should be favored, but if the Marlins can get a good pitching performance, they have a shot at pulling the upset.
