The SEC might not have many marquis out-of-conference wins, but this conference has given us quite a few 20-game winners that have already punched their ticket to March Madness. Two of those teams will be squaring off in Gainesville on Wednesday night when the Arkansas Razorbacks visit the Florida Gators. Florida is likely to be a decent-sized favorite, but Arkansas is 8-2 in its last 10 SEC road games and looking for one more win.

Arkansas has been on a tear against the spread, winning and covering five in a row, with three of those being road games. Most notably, the Razorbacks knocked off South Carolina on a Wednesday night two weeks ago and that sealed their spot in the postseason. Six of their last nine have ended up over the total.
Florida had won nine in a row before stumbling to a game Kentucky team last week. The loss essentially ended the Gators chances of winning the SEC regular season title, but they are still in line for a good seed. The under has hit in five of UF’s last seven games overall.
Last Meeting
These two teams opened conference play against each other back in December with Florida securing a nine-point victory in Fayetteville. It was a time for KeVaughn Allen to shine as the young guard wanted to show off in front of his friends and family in attendance in his home state. He ended the game with 21 points, leading all UF scorers, and knocked down 5 of his 9 three-point attempts as well.
In that meeting, John Egbunu was dominant in the little time he was on the floor. Egbunu fouled out after only 16 minutes of game time, but he made every minute count. He grabbed 11 boards against Arkansas, including five offensive rebounds that helped this team extend possessions. It’s likely he won’t be in as much trouble with the referees on his home court and he might be an even bigger factor.
Matchup to Watch
The Razorbacks aren’t a great three-point shooting team and will have an even tougher time against a Gators defense that is one of the tops in the country at defending the perimeter. None of the four major three-point shooters on Arkansas average better than 40 percent from beyond the arc and they will be facing a unit that is allowing opponents to hit just 30.3 percent of their chances.
That means that Arkansas cannot fall behind too far in this game, or else it will get away from them. The Razorbacks are one of the worse power five defenses nationally, allowing 74.3 PPG, which means that they need to play high-level defense the entire night if they want a win.

Florida ran into a tough Kentucky team last week and are now looking to avoid back-to-back losses. Arkansas doesn’t have anyone that can turn it on like Malik Monk can though. Monk is a bonafide assassin, able to create space and knock down his own shot regardless of what else is going on on the floor and Florida is breathing a sigh of relief.
This game might be a blowout. UF matches up pretty well with Arkansas and the Gators would love to put on a show for their fans in the last home game of the year. A win would also help boost their seed for the NCAA Tournament and with as deep a field as this, seeding is extremely important. UF wins big.
