Neither the Auburn Tigers nor the Missouri Tigers are really headed anywhere this year, but both teams will feel like playing against the other will provide an opportunity to get a relatively rare conference win this Saturday.

HOW THE AUBURN TIGERS CAN COVER THE SPREAD
With T.J. Dunans out of the fold with a knee injury, Auburn really has a lot of work to do to find enough scorers to keep up in the SEC. That said, with Bryce Brown back from suspension, it's fair to say that both he and Kareem Canty can make a difference from the outside.
Both are great three-point shooters and regularly step back to take the big shot, and they're combining to score just under 30 points per game between them.
Canty, in particular has to be awesome. He's put up at least 21 points seven times in his last eight games. It isn't a given that 20+ points from the Marshall transfer will equate to an Auburn dub, but go back and look at what happened in that one game in the last eight in which he didn't score 20+. He only put up three against Harvard in a game which was lost 69-51.
HOW THE MISSOURI TIGERS CAN COVER THE SPREAD
We're really worried about Missouri heading into the SEC season. This is a relatively young team without any real experience at this level, and after a year in which the Tigers averaged just 57.1 points per game in conference play in 2014-15, we have a tough time believing that things are going to be any better this time around.
One of Missouri's three SEC wins last year did come in this fixture at home against Auburn though, so there's certainly a degree of hope.
Finding consistent scoring though, is going to be the big problem. You have to figure out how to piece together at least 60 in this game, one would think, and we aren't sure where those points are coming from.
Sure, Wes Clark put up 22 against Savannah State and is averaging 10.1 points per game, but this is a much different challenge this time around against Auburn.
ANALYSIS AND ODDS PREDICTION
These sets of Tigers are both pretty tame this year, but the consistent problem they're both going to find in the SEC season is a lack of scoring. We figure that Auburn has the slightly more talented of the two sides, though it should be noted that Missouri does have more regular men in its rotation.
Still, the better play in this game is the under. Sure, when these two teams met early in the SEC season last year, 164 points hit the board, but after that, Missouri went on to go 10-5 in its last 15 games in SEC play for under backers.
It's tough to imagine either of these teams getting into the 70s in this one, and for a total which will likely be in the high 120s or low 130s, we'll take our chances that the clubs don't ultimately get there.
Auburn 63, Missouri 57
