It’s impossible to argue that the Duke Blue Devils should not be the No. 1 team in the country at this point of the season. Duke is undefeated and has two wins over Top 10 teams after coming from behind late to knock off Florida in one of the finals of the Phil Knight Invitational. It would be surprising to see the Blue Devils not be a unanimous No. 1 in the next set of rankings and now they are set to go on the road again. Duke will have just two days of rest before taking on the Indiana Hoosiers.
This war on the floor will go down Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 9:30 p.m. ET at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana. The game will be televised live on ESPN. We'll have NCAA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the college basketball Wednesday schedule.

Duke is going to be a pretty big favorite in this one even though it is playing on the road. The Blue Devils have been great this year, easily dispatching of their softer opponents while picking up marquee wins too. Coach K and the boys were able to knock off Michigan State in Chicago in the second week of the season and looked very good in Portland, knocking off Portland State, Texas, and Florida on their way to one of the titles. Over has been a great bet in Duke games this season with a 5-0-1 mark through eight games.
There’s no denying that Indiana has a long way to go to be where they want to be. Archie Miller’s tenure did not get off to a good start with a 21-point loss to Indiana State and the Hoosiers were blown out on the road by Seton Hall too. Indiana has won every other game on its schedule though and is currently sitting at 4-2 before it starts Big Ten play this weekend.
Coaching Angle
Miller has been seen as a rising star in the coaching ranks thanks to his performances with Dayton and Indiana was happy to bring him aboard after the Tom Crean era came to an end.
While the losses to Indiana State and Seton Hall are less than ideal, this team still has a long way to go to get where Miller wants them to be. Miller likes his teams to play a faster-paced transition offense and has his team protect the paint on defense with only one man outside the three-point line in almost all situations.
He is the brother of Arizona’s Sean Miller and spent time under Miller as well as Herb Sendek and Thad Matta, giving him an impressive coaching pedigree.
Matchup to Watch
It will be interesting to see how Indiana tries to stop Duke. The Blue Devils were held under 80 points just once this season and that was against Southern in a game where they just coasted through.
Marvin Bagley III has been as good as advertised and has not had much trouble adapting to the collegiate game. He is averaging a double-double through Duke’s first eight games and is hitting 59 percent from the floor as well. Bagley was phenomenal out in Portland with three great performances in four days.
Additionally, the Blue Devils still have a deadly three-point shooter in Grayson Allen. Allen is at his best when he is not the focal point of the offense and has flourished as more of a three-point specialist. He has knocked down 43.9 percent of his threes this season and is big reason why Duke has been able to score at this pace.

It’s really hard to go against Duke, but being on the road for over a week does take its toll on younger kids. That’s why I’m going to call for Indiana to get the cover.
College Basketball Odds: Duke 82, Indiana 75
