All of a sudden, everything is going right again for the Florida Gators. Florida was one of the most talked about teams through the first month of the season, but had an awful two-week stretch after it got back from Portland. The Gators dropped games against Florida State, Loyola-Illinois, and Clemson, despite being at least a -200 moneyline favorite in each game.
Florida looks like it has turned a corner since SEC play started though. The Gators are 4-0 in conference and have handily won all but one game. This Saturday, they will travel to Oxford to take on the Ole Miss Rebels.
This war on the floor will go down Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 12 p.m. ET at The Pavilion at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. The game will be televised live on ESPN2. We'll have NCAA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the college basketball Saturday schedule.

Few teams have been as streaky as Florida this season. The Gators covered four of their first five and looked fantastic in getting up to No. 5 in the polls. However, they failed to cover six of their next seven and dropped out of the rankings entirely a few weeks later. They have covered three in a row though, and they might just be the best team in a down SEC. The over has cashed in both of their road games this year.
Ole Miss is sitting a little above .500 and is 2-2 in SEC play coming into this game. This team took care of business at home in the two SEC games it was favored in, knocking off South Carolina and Mississippi State. The Rebels have not been a good road team though and are 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS away from home.
The Rebels were awful against the number for the first part of the season. Ole Miss covered its opener, but failed to cover in any of its next eight games. It has recovered somewhat over the last few weeks, with a 4-2 ATS record in the school’s last six. Under is 9-6 in Rebels games this season.
Key Stat
Florida is going to live and die by the three this season, or at least until John Egbunu and Isaiah Stokes return to the team. The Gators have played a lot of four-guard lineups without Egbunu and Stokes available, and that has meant a ton of threes for this team.
They have been pretty good at hitting their threes. As a team, Florida is hitting 39.3 percent from beyond the arc, and its three top shooters are all hitting at least 39 percent of their chances.
The Gators’ three-point shooting lifted them to a blowout win over Texas A&M last week and has carried the team in SEC play. Ole Miss has really struggled to close out on shooters and that could be a big problem here.
Matchup to Watch
Something has to give when Ole Miss has possession. The Rebels have not been a great shooting team this season. As a team, they are hitting just 43.8 percent of their field goals. To make matters worse, all four of their players who are scoring in double digits are hitting less than 42 percent of their chances this year.
The good news for the Rebels is that Florida has not been good on defense this season. The Gators are in the bottom half of college basketball in almost every major defensive category. UF is allowing opponents to hit 37.3 percent of their threes, one of the worst averages in the country.
Free College Basketball ATS Picks
Florida is likely to be favored in this one, but Ole Miss has a great chance of pulling off the upset. The Rebels will shoot well enough to contend and are a good bet to knock off the Gators.
College Basketball Odds: Ole Miss 77, Florida 74
