A recent three-game losing streak has left the Georgetown Hoyas with a suspect resume for the NCAA Tournament. They're just 14-11 after beating St. John's on Monday, but that record alone isn't going to get them to the dance. They were beaten by the Providence Friars at the start of their losing streak, and they'd love nothing more than to return the favorite at the Dunkin Donuts Center on Saturday afternoon.

SCHEDULING
This might be a great time for Georgetown to get a signature win against a Top 25 team. The Friars had to play two overtimes at Marquette on Wednesday night, a game which was lost. Often times, losses like that wear on a team, particularly one which has now been beaten in four of its last five overall. The only good news for the Friars is that the one win in this stretch came against these Hoyas.
Georgetown has had plenty of time to get ready for this game, as it has been off since Monday's relatively easy win over the Johnnies.
KEY MATCHUP
The Hoyas have the potential to really get racked on the glass in this game. They're being outrebounded in Big East play this year and were -7 when they played against the Friars a couple weeks ago. Providence isn't the best rebounding team in the world either, but Ben Bentil really had his way when these two last met. He had nine rebounds, three of which were on the offensive side, and his 26 points helped pace the team.
With Bentil and Rodney Bullock cleaning up on the glass, Kris Dunn was really free to do whatever he wanted. He abused D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera time and time again and scored 26 of his own.
Still, Bentil is the key. Dunn is a fantastic shooter and can make things happen with or without the ball in his hands. He'll get his for sure. Bentil probably will as well, but he needs to return to dominant form, something that we haven't really seen out of him for the most part on this losing streak if the Friars are going to excel in live betting. Maybe dropping 42 on Marquette will help get him back on track.
KEY STATS & TRENDS
The Friars have turned the ball over 49 times in their last three games combined, a stat which could plague them again versus Georgetown. The Hoyas average just under six steals per game, and both Smith-Rivera and L.J. Peak, the two primary on the ball defenders are good for almost half of those between them.
Georgetown has found itself playing a bunch of overs of late against relatively high numbers, and John Thompson III can't really love that about his team. The Hoyas have allowed at least 67 in their last seven games, and they've played four of their last five games past the number.
The NCAAB game between these two back in January ended with 142 points, just barely exceeding the posted number of 138. Expect to see a game which ends right around that same point on Saturday afternoon.
