Even though Arizona has to go on the road for this one, it is the better team by a longshot and should have no trouble taking care of business. The Wildcats are undefeated and in first place in the conference while the Beavers are winless and in last place so the only drama will be which teams covers the spread in this matchup.
This war on the floor will go down Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 9 p.m. ET at the Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon. The game will be televised live on ESPN2.
We'll have NCAA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the college basketball Thursday schedule.

Arizona is 20-2 straight up and 11-10-1 against the spread. The Wildcats have gone on the road for five true road games and have been great, covering in every one of them. Arizona has been the favorite in most of its games this season and has gone 7-8-1 against the spread when giving points.
Oregon State is 4-18 straight up and 8-12 against the spread. The Beavers have played in 11 home games this season and have covered in five of them. Oregon State has been the underdog in 16 games this season and has covered in eight of them.
Lookahead Situation
Arizona has a huge game coming up against Oregon, which is only one game behind it in the conference standings, a couple days after this one. The Wildcats know how much that one will mean, and when playing such an inferior opponent beforehand, it’s fair to wonder if some focus will be lacking.
Arizona recently got back Allonzo Trier after a long suspension for using a performance-enhancing substance, and his presence has been a big help. The Wildcats have to be feeling good about themselves as they have risen to one of the top-ranked teams in the country.
This matchup is so lopsided that even a less-than-focused Arizona team will have no problem traveling to Corvallis and pulling out a victory. However, the question for bettors will be where the spread comes in, and if Arizona will have enough motivation to cover.
Player to Watch
Trier -- Arizona’s star sophomore averaged 14.7 points per game a season ago, and he had the choice of moving on to the NBA if he so chose. Trier instead decided to return to Arizona, but that didn’t work out as planned when he was suspended for the first half of the season.
He has returned for the most recent three games, and the Wildcats have won all of them, including a road victory over then-No. 3 UCLA. Trier is averaging 13.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists in his short stint back on the court and should continue to improve as he gets more comfortable.

Arizona enters this game on a 14-game winning streak and is 9-0 in Pac-12 play. The Wildcats are playing great and should be able to take care of business in this one.
It has been a rough season for Oregon State, which has lost nine straight games to begin Pac-12 play. The Beavers only average 64.5 points per game and are outscored by an average of seven points per contest.
The Wildcats seem to be peaking at the right time, buoyed by the return of one of their best players. While the game on paper suggests a blowout, don’t forget that Arizona may be keeping one eye on Oregon.
Even though Oregon State won’t have much of a chance in this one, it could still cover the spread if it doesn’t fold when the going gets tough.
College Basketball Odds: Arizona 79, Oregon State 67
