The Wolverines are the more talented team and play this one at home, so there is little doubt they will be the favorites. They have lost two of their past four games but have the ability to pull away in this one.
This war on the floor will go down Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 9 p.m. ET at the Crisler Center.
We'll have NCAA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the college basketball Tuesday schedule.

Michigan is 6-2 overall and has won four of five this year at home. The Wolverines are 4-4 against the spread this season and has covered in two of five home games.
Texas is 4-3 overall on the season. The Longhorns are 3-4 against the spread this season and have failed to cover in a pair of road contests. Texas
Player to Watch
Zak Irvin – The Michigan senior guard leads the team in points this season, averaging 14.9 points a game right now. He also averages 4.9 rebounds and and 2.8 assists a game.
Irvin scored 23 points against Virginia Tech on November 30th and put up 19 points in the win over Kennesaw State on December 3rd.
Irvin is shooting 45.6 percent from the field and is a threat from three-point range. The Wolverines have pretty good balance with six different players averaging at least 6.6 points per game, but there’s no doubt Irvin is one of the key cogs.
Texas is allowing 67.0 points per game and is susceptible to hot-shooting guards, so Irvin could take advantage by having a big game.
Key Stat
1. Wins for Texas against major conference foes this season. The Longhorns have four wins but three of them have been against Incarnate Word, Louisiana-Monroe and Eastern Washington.
The Longhorns’ lone victory over a big school came against Alabama last time out, as Kerwin Roach, Jr. scored 16 points to lead the way.
Texas has lost games to Northwestern, Colorado and, surprisingly, against Texas-Arlington. The lack of signature wins and the poor loss to UTA does not bode well for this one.
Roach is having a nice season but the Longhorns are not outscoring their opponents by very many points and this will be a tough one on the road against the Wolverines.

Texas was in the top-10 early last season but then steadily dropped and eventually got knocked out of the NCAA Tournament in the first round. If the Longhorns don’t get some signature wins in non-conference or do well in the Big 12, they could miss March Madness entirely.
An upset win over Michigan would be a huge boon, but it won’t be easy. The Wolverines have established themselves much more this year and will aim to pick up the key home win. Even though Texas hasn’t been great this year, it would be a resume-booster to defeat a perennially strong program.
Michigan has a win over Marquette early in the year and hopes to compete for the Big Ten title once it gets into conference play. Things are going reasonably well for the Wolverines, who seem to be on their way to the NCAA Tournament. A win over Texas would help that charge, and it should definitely happen.
The Wolverines should be able to pull ahead early and keep Texas at bay to win this matchup.
College Basketball Odds: Michigan 74, Texas 65
