The Georgetown Hoyas don't have a ton of great moments this year, but one of their signature victories came against the Xavier Musketeers in Cincinnati. The Hoyas will have a shot to go for the sweep on Saturday against one of the Top 10 teams in the land at the Verizon Center.

SCHEDULING
Georgetown hasn't played well since that win over the X-Men. It's just 2-6 SU and ATS since that point, including losing on Wednesday against Seton Hall at home by eight. This is the second to last home game of the season for the Hoyas, who have dipped to just 6-7 ATS at the Verizon Center this year.
Xavier, which is 6-3 ATS on the road, has played really good ball of late. It beat up Providence and Butler in successive games by 11 and 17 respectively. Live bettors have to be concerned just a little bit about this being a bit of a sandwich game. The Musketeers are coming off of a big win over the Friars, and a home game against Villanova is coming up next week. That latter game could end up being for the regular season Big East title if the Wildcats end up tripping just once beforehand.
KEY MATCHUP
The Hoyas got some great offensive production out of Bradley Hayes and Jessie Govan in that first meeting of the season. Neither man is really a great scorer, but if the Hoyas are going to cover this game, they're going to have to do something special in order to win this game.
L.J. Peak also scored 21 points in that game, and there's absolutely no way that's going to repeat itself considering the fact that he's averaging less than four points per game and hasn't scored even a total of 21 points since that point.
That's why there's going to be a ton of pressure on D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera. He's the leader for this Georgetown team, and though he scored 21 points and was fantastic in the first clash, he's going to have to do even more in this one. The Musketeers are very likely to score in the 70s or 80s, and if the Hoyas don't plan on matching that, they're as good as dead. Live bettors should be ready to see how Smith-Rivera reacts to this game. If he's going to be stuck in the low teens, there isn't a hope.
KEY STATS & TRENDS
Xavier has had some mental lapses in games this year, but for the most part, it's been a darn good team aside from that. The Musketeers though, are only 4-5 ATS in their last nine games.
Georgetown has pushed five of its last seven games over the total, but a lot of that is thanks to a defense which has allowed just under 70 points per game this season.
Keep a really close eye on Trevon Bluiett for the Musketeers. He's scored at least 15 points in eight of his last 10 games, including scoring 18 points with 10 boards and five assists against Georgetown. Bluiett is one of the three men on this team averaging double digits in scoring. James Farr, Jalen Reynolds and J.P. Macura aren't all that far behind at 9.9, 9.7 and 9.4 points per game respectively. If these six men are all floating around that 10-point mark in this one, the Musketeers are probably going to end up doing enough for live bettors to cover most numbers.
