The Rhode Island Rams were the best team in the Atlantic 10 in the regular season and are aiming to finish off an impressive resume with the conference tournament championship. Rhode Island is nationally ranked and will have no problem making it into March Madness no matter their run, but the same cannot be said for the rest of the teams in the conference.
The St. Bonaventure Bonnies are in second place in the A-10 and are right on the tournament bubble. They could avoid sweating out Selection Sunday by claiming the automatic berth, but even a trip to the championship game may be enough to make it as an at-large selection.
The rest of the teams will undoubtedly need to win this conference tournament in order to make it to March Madness. The Davidson Wildcats seem to be the best of the rest of the pack in the Atlantic 10.

Odds Analysis
The Rams have lost two straight conference games and three of their past five, so they clearly aren’t infallible. However, they have the best road to the title game, as St. Bonaventure will likely run into Davidson in the semifinals, which is a tough matchup.
Look for Rhode Island to be the favorite in this A-10 Tournament despite the recent lull.
Bubble Watch
Rhode Island is currently projected as a No. 7 seed in March Madness, so a loss could knock it down a but won’t boot the team from the tournament. St. Bonaventure is much more interesting. Projections have the Bonnies sneaking in based on a strong body of work.
St. Bonaventure is 24-6 overall and 14-4 in conference play. The Bonnies are currently projected to get a No. 11 seed, which means there is not much room for error since those seeds are some of the most perilous. The Bonnies’ fate will depend on their own conference tournament run as well as that of other teams throughout the country.
Free NCAA ATS Picks
The conference tournament finals should be a good matchup as Rhode Island is likely going to make it against either St. Bonaventure or Davidson. If the Bonnies can get there, don’t be surprised if they win it all.
However, Davidson is playing at a high level, and the Wildcats are the choice to face Rhode Island with a chance to make March Madness through the automatic bid. Davidson will come perilously close to winning the Atlantic 10 conference tournament title, but the Rams are the choice to come away with a close victory and improve their seeding for the NCAA Tournament.
NCAA Odds: Rhode Island 72, Davidson 68 in the finals of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament
