Fatigue could cause Game 6 to finally be end of feisty Cleveland Cavaliers against Golden State Warriors

2015-NBA-Finals-Game-6-Betting-Lines

Give the Cleveland Cavaliers (67-34 SU, 49-52 ATS) all the credit in the world. They have fought and fought all series long against the best team in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors (82-20 SU, 57-44-1 ATS).

Fatigue though, has really gotten to them each of the last two games, and that's why it's probably a good idea to bet against them in live betting on Tuesday in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

FATIGUED LEBRON GIVING WAY

LeBron James is mortal. Yes, it's tough to believe that a man who is averaging over 33 points per game in this series and has posted a pair of triple-doubles is mortal, but that is turning out to be the case.

The Cavaliers are just nothing without him. They managed just one meaningful point in the fourth quarter of Game 5 that he didn't either score or assist on, and that came when Tristan Thompson only made one-of-two from the foul line off of a shot which James missed and Thompson rebounded before getting hacked on the way back up.

When Matthew Dellavedova had the ball in his hands in the fourth quarter of Game 5, he turned it over a pair of times on fruitless possessions.

Worse for James was when he was sitting on the bench. The Warriors went on a 13-4 run at the end of the third quarter while he was getting a quick breather, and though he did will the team back into a lead early in the fourth, he just didn't have enough in the tank.

In this series, James has had a foot problem, has hit his head on a camera, and oh yes, he's basically taking on the best team in the NBA all by himself with a collection of players who wouldn't combine to win 20 out of 82 games in an NBA regular season without him.

There's just no reason to forecast anything but the same script in this game. James comes playing well, as 12 points, five boards and four assists in the first quarter and keeps Cleveland close, but at some point, the Warriors are going to hit some shots and go on a run, ultimately pulling away in the end.

That's why live betting on the Dubs might be even better than betting on them before the game starts.

RUN DUBS RUN

The Warriors haven't been at their best offensively in this series. They have yet to tick 104 points in regulation, a far cry from the team which averaged over 110 points per game in the regular season. Stephen Curry has been great at times and nowhere to be found at others, while Klay Thompson has had just one really good game and has spent much of the series in foul trouble.

Draymond Green has disappeared from this offense for long stretches, likely due to the fact that he has been playing the role of the center for the last few games, and though Andre Iguodala did have a strong Game 5, he was nothing more than the guy who the Cavaliers begged to shoot threes prior to that.

However, things have started to come together as Cleveland has gotten more time. The Warriors are winning the battle on the offensive glass, and they are creating more and more second chance opportunities. Second chances for most teams are worth two points. Second chances for Golden State can be worth three in a hurry, and it can put the Cleveland defense in scramble mode.

That frenetic pace, even if it is just for a possession or two every now and again, really hurts Cleveland and forces it to remove its big guys who can't keep up from the court. That's what Golden State wants to have happen, and when it has, the Dubs have been at their best for live betting purposes throughout this series.
