A road game against a disciplined San Antonio squad is not easy, the Milwaukee will definitely need to play one of its best games of the year in order to escape with the win. The Spurs have some tough competition in the Western Conference and can use all of these early-season wins as they figure to be jockeying for playoff seeding all year.
This war on the floor will go down Friday, November 10, 2017, at 9 p.m. ET at AT&T Center. The game will be televised live on ESPN.
We'll have NBA odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the NBA Thursday schedule.
Odds Analysis
The Spurs have the superior team and the home court advantage, so they will be the favorites in this matchup. The scoring total could be lower than most NBA games as San Antonio is willing to play a deliberate pace and has a solid defense.
Injury Report
Kawhi Leonard — The Spurs have been without their best player all season long and coach Gregg
Popovich said this week that his recovery is coming along more slowly than expected. Leonard is undergoing rehabilitation for a nagging quadriceps tendinopathy injury and there is no timetable set for his return yet.
Leonard is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year but his absence is felt on both sides of the ball. Still, the Spurs are 7-4 coming into this matchup, just a game back from the Warriors and Rockets in the Western Conference.
LaMarcus Aldridge has helped pick up the slack and he could be the featured player once again in this matchup.
Player to Watch
Eric Bledsoe — The Bucks traded big man Greg Monroe, a protected first-round and protected second-round pick in 2018 to the Suns in exchange for Bledsoe this week. On October 22nd, the Suns dismissed the 27-year-old point guard after he sent a tweet that was presumed to mean he was unhappy in Phoenix.
After missing most of the season so far, he will be more than ready to turn the page and move on with Milwaukee. Bledsoe averaged a career-high 21.1 points and 6.3 assists a game for Phoenix last season, his seventh season in the league.
He joins an offense led by Antetokounmpo who is averaging 31 points and 9.9 rebounds a game. Bledsoe will be expected to make an immediate impact with the Bucks, as Milwaukee needs some support for their star.

The Bucks should improve as they work Bledsoe into the fold, but it won’t be easy this quickly against such a good opponent. Antetokounmpo has been having monster performances all year but his team keeps losing.
Milwaukee needs to fix that quickly as they don’t want to waste such a great season from a talented player. The Spurs figure to key on him and try to make others beat them. Milwaukee could string together some wins in the near future but the road it too tough in this one.
Take the Spurs to take care of business at home even without their best player because their defense won’t allow Antetokounmpo to take over this matchup. Check out the spread when it comes in because the margin may be a little bit higher than most expect.
The Spurs are such a well-coached, veteran-laden team that they make the most of other team’s mistakes, and will do so here.
NBA Odds: Spurs 107, Bucks 101
