The Golden State Warriors are again the team to beat this season, but they have been stumbling more than they did last year. Golden State has lost two of its last three after dropping road games to Utah and Denver, and now must face the team that wants to beat them more than anyone else.
It’s an understatement to say that there is bad blood between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Westbrook has not publicly commented on it, but his on the court and off the court antics have suggested he felt at least somewhat betrayed when Durant went to Golden State. That will make things very interesting when his Oklahoma City Thunder come to town.
This war on the floor will go down Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 10:30 p.m. ET at the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, California. The game will be televised live on TNT. We'll have NBA odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the NBA Tuesday schedule.

Oklahoma City has had a rough time as of late. It looked like the Thunder had turned the corner after going on a tear, but they have recently struggled to beat mediocre teams. OKC has lost each of its last four games despite being a favorite in every one of the four.
Big things were expected out of the Thunder after they acquired Carmelo Anthony and Paul George, but it’s taken some time for the chemistry to get there. That has led to Vegas overvaluing this team and OKC is 22-32 ATS as a result.
The Warriors have been a losing team to back against the number this season too. They are 23-29-1 ATS and are 2-6 ATS over their last eight games. Some of it has been the result of massive spreads, but it’s also been somewhat on this team looking lackadaisical at times.
Matchup to Watch
We’ve already started to hear the hype for another bout of Durant v. Westbrook. These two superstars were teammates for nearly a decade in Oklahoma City, and it came as a surprise when Durant left to join the team that had just won the NBA Title.
Ever since then, Westbrook has had a massive chip on his shoulder. He wanted to prove he could do it all without Durant last season and went on a tear, ending the season with a triple-double en route to winning the NBA MVP.
While it seems like Durant doesn’t have much animosity towards Westbrook, Westbrook has gotten heated and emotional when facing the Warriors. His Thunder weren’t able to beat them last season, but with George and Anthony they hammered the Warriors by 17 before Thanksgiving.
All eyes, and cameras, will be on the interactions between these two all night.
Key Stats
With so many weapons on the offensive end, it’s pretty much impossible to stop Golden State. The Warriors rank first in the NBA in almost every major shooting category and have the best point differential in the league too.
It starts with the guard play of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson on the outside. These are two of the best shooters you will find in the NBA and both are making at least 42 percent of their threes.
Adding Durant to this team was totally unfair. He is one of the deadliest shooters in the NBA, which makes him impossible to guard with his size advantage. Although he doesn’t touch the ball as much as you’d think given his skillset, he is still averaging 25.9 PPG.

This time around, Golden State is going to have a bit of a chip on its shoulder. The Warriors are going to want to make a statement at home, and Durant is going to be motivated to give it back to Westbrook. Golden State will be favored big and will cover.
NBA Betting Odds: Warriors 126, Thunder 109
