NBA Odds - Chicago Bulls at San Antonio Spurs Live Betting Preview

March is known for its madness, but generally speaking, the upsets come in the collegiate game. You wouldn't know that in the NBA of late, though. Just a day after the Warriors were stunned by the Lakers in arguably the biggest upset in NBA history, the San Antonio Spurs were dropped for just the tenth time this season in Indiana.

The Spurs will be back at home on Thursday to kick off the weekly TNT doubleheader, and we can't see them faltering once again with the Chicago Bulls coming to town, especially after losing to them once already this season.

You can bet on NBA odds at BookMaker.eu every day of the season.

SCHEDULING

The Spurs are finally ready to settle in at home for a while after their Rodeo Road Trip. They've played just twice at home since February 6, but this is the first time they're set to string multiple home games together since that point.

Live bettors are going to hope to get good returns here on a team which has the best ATS mark at home this season at 20-10.

The Bulls will have a couple days off in a row to get ready for this one. They beat the Bucks on Monday night at home and are off now until Thursday.

KEY MATCHUP

Injuries are really starting to mount for the Bulls, and their bench is going to end up being key in this game. No team gets more out of its reserves than San Antonio, but we're just not sure how Chicago is going to counter that.

Keep an eye on the status of Bobby Portis, Aaron Brooks and Jimmy Butler for this game. They're all questionable with various injuries. Cameron Bairstow is also out with a back problem. If all these men are forced to sit, the Bulls could legitimately only have eight players healthy, and that's not a good sign for live betting purposes.

Eventually, situations like this end up resulting in problems, especially against a team as deep and as confident as San Antonio. That bench for the Spurs just got a little deeper as well, as this should be either the first or second game for the newly acquired Kevin Martin.

KEY STATS & TRENDS

San Antonio continues to have the best offense and defense in terms of efficiency in the NBA. The Spurs are shooting 48.8 percent from the field and are allowing teams to shoot just 43.2 percent. Gregg Popovich's side is also second in the league in three-point shooting and second in defending the three.

Indiana might've cracked the code of the Spurs, but it's less likely for live bettors to have success in this game, knowing that the Bulls only rank No. 18 in scoring in the Association and No. 15 in scoring defense.

Live bettors should also keep in mind how badly the Bulls have struggled for bettors on the road. They're just 11-19 ATS this season outside of the United Center, and a lot of the issues have stemmed on the defensive side of the court. Chicago’s conceded over 105 points per game on the road to date, and that's why the over has cashed in 18 of their 30 overall played road tilts.
