A worst versus first match-up is set to go on ABC television Sunday when the Los Angeles Lakers host the record-setting NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
Despite the Lakers 12-50 record, this game should get plenty of live betting action with Kobe Bryant playing his final game against the NBA’s best team in Golden State.

WHEN THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS HAVE THE BALL
What can MVP Steph Curry do for an encore? He broke his single-season record for made three pointers recently with over 20 regular season games remaining. Curry is the league’s highest rated player in efficiency while scoring over 30 points per game, and the Warriors average a league-high 115 points per game including 116 when on the road.
Golden State is a record-setting 54-5 including 29-5 on the road. They will be laying double-digits on the road and come off Thursday’s rematch with the Thunder at home. Golden State won back-to-back overtime games and both Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala missed the team’s last game against the Hawks.
Check both players status, but know the Warriors are still strong and balanced with plenty of firepower with Draymond Green and Klay Thompson providing the inside/outside strength alongside Curry’s MVP play.
WHEN THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS HAVE THE BALL
The Lakers have lost nine of their last 10 games heading into Friday’s home game against the Hawks followed by this match-up with the Warriors. The Lakers scoring has been solid including 107 points in each of their last two games, but Los Angeles is not efficient ranking No. 29 in the league and last at No. 30 in effective FG percentage.
Kobe Bryant leads the team in scoring at 17 points per game, but he hits just 27 percent from long range on seven three-point shots per contest. He’s dealing with an ailing right shoulder and played just 11 minutes last game at Denver. The 18-time All-Star also sat out the two previous games. Against the Nuggets, the Lakers also lost Jordan Clarkson, the team’s No. 2 scorer, who strained his left patellar tendon in the third quarter.
With the additional absence of guard Lou Williams, the Lakers did not have their top three scorers in the fourth quarter of the 117-107 loss and coach Byron Scott had to play lineups that had not played together the entire season.
Williams will be out another week, so check the player status of Kobe and Clarkson for the Warriors game. Coach Scott said he will spread the minutes between guards Anthony Brown, Marcelo Huertas and Nick Young.
Rookie D’Angelo Russell will need a big game like he had against the Nets at home March 1 scoring 39 points. Julius Randle averages 10 rebounds per game to lead the Lakers, but this is not a good game to bet over the total in live betting due to injuries even with the Warriors awesome offense against the Lakers deficient defense.
LIVE BETTING SCENARIO
The under is 13-6 in the Lakers last 19 home games including 5-1 in their last six versus a team with a winning record. But injuries are noted, and while many bettors will prefer to bet the Warriors and over the total, live betting will likely offer betting value towards the under and especially on adjusted prices if these two teams break from the gate with more scoring.
The Warriors are the league’s top shooting team and most efficient offense, but Golden State is also top-5 in defensive efficiency and should shut down the Lakers. Check player status and watch the game flow as you adjust to the live betting lines.
