The Western Conference Finals will basically be gone and forgotten over the course of the next several days.

The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder played on Wednesday night, and they won't be back at it until Sunday when the series shifts to the Sooner State for Game 3.

SERIES RECAP

We've seen two very different games thus far, and that has to concern live bettors. The Thunder really didn't do a heck of a lot different in terms of their approach. They still kept their bigs on the court to try to frustrate the Warriors, and they still let their offense run through their two superstars.

However, when Stephen Curry is on, he's unbelievable. He personally went on a 15-2 run against OKC in the third quarter, and that took a game which was only just barely starting to get out of hand and turned it into a runaway.

That's the type of thing Steph can do when he's running hot, especially in games played at Oracle Arena.

The best news for Oklahoma City's live bettors? This game isn't being played at Oracle.

KEY MATCHUP

The big adjustment which was made from Game 1 to Game 2 for Steve Kerr is that Draymond Green was really used more as a free safety than a man-to-man defender. He and the Warriors dared Andre Roberson to get the ball and shoot it, and instead, he was -22 on the court in just 16 minutes.

Someone else really has to help out Westbrook and Durant. These guys can't do it by themselves. Steven Adams had himself a heck of a series against the Spurs. His streak of four straight double-doubles came to a close in Game 2 against Golden State, and it's largely because Green was able to largely sit in the middle of the defense and stop entry passes into the paint off of dribble penetration.

KEY STATS & TRENDS

What's scary for the Thunder is that Golden State really didn't do anything all that spectacular on the offensive end of the floor in Game 2. Sure, the point total was great, but Curry only scored 28 points, Klay Thompson only scored 15, and Green only had 10. The team only barely shot 50 percent from the field and came up short of that mark from beyond the arc.

We've seen the Dubs shoot 55 percent from the field and hit 18 threes in big games before. This really was nothing. It really could get worse for the Thunder, and their live bettors need to know it. No one in this league can take over a game like Curry, and if you bet against the Dubs just before he takes off, you're liable to never recover.

Kevin Durant turned the ball over eight times in Game 2, and he now has at least five turnovers in six of his last seven games. However, if there's a man who needed a few days off, he's it. Durant had played 42+ minutes in six straight affairs before "only" playing 32 minutes in Game 2.

He should be refreshed and ready to put this team on his back once again in Game 3.
