NBA Odds - Golden State Warriors at Oklahoma City Thunder Game 4 Live Betting Preview

May 24-16 NBA WCF GAME 4 LIVE BETTING (BM)

The defending champion Warriors were served up a big fat helping of humble pie on Sunday night to fall behind the Thunder 2-1 in the series. For the first time this postseason, there’s serious doubt that Golden State has the goods to pull off the repeat. They’ll look to squash those assumptions Tuesday night when they return to the scene of the crime for Game 4.

ODDS ANALYSIS

The Warriors have been favored to win all three games in this series. They own 1-2 SU and ATS marks to show for their work after splitting the first two games at home and then royally screwing their betting backers in Game 3 by getting taken behind the woodshed.

Steve Kerr’s squad is now faced with a major uphill climb after once again having home court advantage taken away from them Sunday night after embarrassingly falling 133-105 as 2-point road chalk. Pointspread wins have been tough to come by for the defending champs of late with them just 2-4 ATS in their last six.

Regardless, Stephen Curry and company are once again 1-point favorites to win Game 4 with the total bumped up to 222 after closing at 219 in Game 3. The under cashed easily in the first two games with totals closing at 225 and 223 respectively.

KEY MATCHUP

The team that won the rebounding battle in every game of this series has gone on to win the game outright. OKC won it 52-44 in Game 1. Golden State won it 45-36 in Game 2. OKC won it again in Game 3 by ripping down an impressive 14 more boards than Draymond Green and his crew.

Digging in a bit deeper, the team that reeled in more offensive caroms also went on to win the game.

Before the series began, it was the Warriors outside shooting and ability to score in transition squaring off against the potent 1-2 punch of the Thunder paired with a trio of bigs that could wreak havoc down low.

In the two games Oklahoma City has come out on top in, it either competed or ran away with the category, so make it a point to see how easily the team is getting into the painted area and at what clip their knocking those shots down when live betting Game 4.

LIVE BETTING SCENARIO

After Game 3’s first quarter expired, live bettors knew a high scorer was likely in the cards with each teams combining to put 62 points on the board. We recommended live betting the over until the cows came home in Game 3, and while it will be tempting to do so once again in Game 4 with the league’s No. 1 ranked scoring offense beaten at their own game, don’t forget they also boast a pretty darn good defense that just got embarrassed.

After allowing the Thunder to drain better than 47 percent of their 3-point shots in the series opener, OKC only converted 7-of-23 in Game 2. OKC just played the game of its life in shooting 50 percent from the field and only turning it over a grand total of 12 times. Kevin Durant and company are good, no doubt, but they’re not otherworldly.

That shooting percentage is certain to take a nosedive in Game 4, but if they just so happen to get out of the gates hot once again, take the inflated number on the live betting line with the Dubs and also take a flier on the low side of the total. These teams had three-plus days to get physically and mentally ready for Game 3, so fatigue did not play a role. It will however in Game 4 with only 24 hours off for each side.

Take advantage of the oddsmakers over adjusting after Game 3’s whitewashing.
