WHEN THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS HAVE THE BALL

What can MVP Steph Curry do for an encore? He broke his single-season record for made three pointers recently with over 20 regular season games remaining. Curry is the league’s highest rated player in efficiency while scoring over 30 points per game, and the Warriors average a league-high 115 points per game.

Golden State already embarrassed San Antonio 120-90 at home back on January 25.

Now the Warriors will be a slight road ‘Dog, but this is a tougher spot coming off their Friday night game at Dallas and playing back-to-back in San Antonio. The Warriors have the league’s No. 1 efficiency offense and now play the Spurs No. 1 efficiency defense.

Draymond Green will need to be strong inside against LaMarcus Aldridge and top defender Kawhi Leonard while Klay Thompson will be asked to provide additional scoring punch outside as the Spurs focus on Curry.

WHEN THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS HAVE THE BALL

The Spurs are so efficient ranking top-3 in the league in offensive efficiency, effective FG percentage and rebounding rate. They are also No. 1 in defensive efficiency making them a most balanced and elite team along with the Warriors. Kawhi Leonard is top-5 and DeMarcus Cousins top-12 in player efficiency rankings, giving the Spurs a pair of powerful players in the post alongside center Tim Duncan.

But with Leonard scoring 20 per game as well as a lockdown defender, and Aldridge able to dominate the glass and score, the Spurs are still plenty strong and efficient with point guards Tony Parker and Patty Mills along with Danny Green key players in the deep perimeter.

The Spurs have the perimeter personnel to slow Curry, and clearly San Antonio will be plenty motivated after their last game against the Warriors and ready to show the champs that they will be a most formidable foe to handle come playoff time.

San Antonio has held 10 of its last 11 opponents to less than 100 points, and while that seems a bit far-fetched against the Warriors, don’t sleep on San Antonio as coach Popovich will have the Spurs defense ready to make a statement.

LIVE BETTING SCENARIO

This marquee match-up will get tons of live betting action with the league’s most efficient and productive teams on both ends of the court.

Golden State will always be an attractive underdog, but the Spurs are in a better spot, motivated and still undefeated at home. San Antonio has a very strong bench and those players were also instrumental in the Spurs 108-87 rout of the Clippers just four days ago.

Aldridge is averaging 25 points, nine rebounds and shooting 58 percent in March with much improved free throw shooting as well.

Look for less scoring in the early going and adjust your live betting strategy based on the Spurs ability to control the rebounding and force more contested shots. A strong early start should be in store for the Spurs, making first half live wagering of interest on them as well.
