The Warriors are the prohibitive NBA championship favorites and have rolled to six consecutive wins in the playoffs. They will be road favorites in this one and if they keep playing like the first two games, the location won’t make much of a difference.
The Jazz must shoot really well from the field and play good defense to have any shot of pulling off this upset against the best team in the NBA.
This war on the floor will go down Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 8:30 p.m. ET at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The game will be televised live on ABC.
We'll have NBA odds at BookMaker.eu available for this and every game on the NBA Saturday schedule.
NBA Odds
The Warriors were 14-point favorites in Game 2 and failed to cover for the second straight time despite another easy win. That’s the issue when a team is such a big favorite. The scoring total was set at 206 and the 115-104 outcome resulted in the “over” being the correct choice.
Golden State is now 73-15 straight up and 43-31-4 against the spread. The Warriors are 21-21-1 against the spread on the road this season and are now 41-40-4 against the spread as the favorite.
Utah is 55-36 straight up and 44-44-3 against the spread. The Jazz are 20-21-3 against the spread at home this season and have now covered in 15 of 32 attempts this season as the underdog.
Last Time Out
Behind a dominant performance from Draymond Green, the Warriors captured another wire-to-wire victory against the Jazz on Thursday. Green finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
After a slow start, Utah played much better in the final three quarters of the game to keep it close but just could not keep pace with the Warriors and all their firepower. Kevin Durant added 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists and Steph Curry finished with 23 points and seven assists in the win.
Gordon Hayward had a team-high 33 points for the Jazz, a big improvement after scoring just 12 points in Game 1. Rudy Gobert and Shelvin Mack combined for another 30. Utah played better in the second game, but getting down early is a kiss of death because the Warriors will stay on the gas.
Injury Report
Green -- After an awesome performance Thursday, Green left the game early with a knee injury. Green fell to the ground, going in for a lay-up halfway through the fourth quarter and was slow to get up, then fell back to the floor, grabbing his left knee and then falling again to the floor.
He would not return to the game. After the game, Green said he would ice the injury and would be fine moving forward. However, it is definitely an injury to keep an eye on. Green has been fantastic in both games, scoring, passing, rebounding and playing great defense. If he is limited it could have an effect on the outcome.
Curry injured his ankle in Game but was fine in Game 2 and it shouldn’t be an issue moving forward.

The Warriors have won 21 of their past 22 games and are aiming to go down in history as one of the best teams in NBA history. They have looked the part thus far, but it’s not a slam dunk to do it on the road against a solid foe.
Utah knows its back is against the wall, and Game 3 is crucial. While the Jazz should be energized, the Warriors’ talent advantage is just too big. Take Golden State to win this game and also cover the spread to get to within one game of another sweep.
NBA Odds: Warriors 107, Jazz 95
