NBA Odds - Indiana Pacers at Golden State Warriors Live Betting Preview

Pacers-at-Warriors-Picks

After a three-game roadie through the Central Division, the Golden State Warriors are back at home where they're a perfect 19-0 this season. Their first foe on this three-game home stand is yet another team from the Central, the Indiana Pacers.

SCHEDULING

The Dubs are going to be glad to be back at home after this road trip. This will be just their third home game since January 4, and you can bet that Steph Curry and the gang will be ready to shoot the lights out at Oracle Arena as they've done time and time again this season.

This game comes on the heels of an off day for the Warriors, and that should remove any shadow of doubt from live bettors' minds. Indiana is riding a four-game coverless streak coming into Oakland.

There are two days off in a row after a road win in Phoenix, but it's also notable that Saturday provides a chance for a more winnable game in Sacramento. It's possible that Frank Vogel calls off the dogs early if this one starts to get out of hand, something live bettors need to be aware of.

KEY MATCHUP

The backcourt is starting to become a lonely place for the Pacers. Rodney Stuckey is out for a couple more weeks with a foot injury, while George Hill has taken a personal leave from the team and is a question mark to rejoin the club for this road trip.

Monta Ellis knows all about the Warriors having played with them for years before they got good, but and this point in his career, asking him to start and play 30+ minute against Curry just isn't fair. Furthermore, Glenn Robinson III is playing out of position at the shooting guard spot, and Joe Young being the first guard off the bench isn't exactly encouraging either.

Devin Booker and Brandon Knight, the starting backcourt for the Suns, combined for 53 points on Tuesday night. If that's what those two were capable of, we can only imagine what the night has in store for both Curry and Klay Thompson.

Clearly, if George isn't in the fold, it's a real sign that live bettors should be backing the Dubs early and often before this game gets out of hand as will likely be the case.

KEY STATS & TRENDS

Indiana's lack of rebounding is definitely going to be key in this game. The Warriors aren't the best rebounding club, but they can get out and run off of missed shots and turnovers like few others in the NBA. The Pacers are getting outdone by 1.8 boards per game, and if they lose the battle on the glass by a substantial amount in this one, live bettors will see this score get ugly in a hurry.

Golden State might be just 3-3 ATS and 4-2 SU in its last six games heading into this one, but that hasn't slowed down its scoring any. Sure, the game against Detroit was a dud, but take that one out, and the last time the Warriors didn't score at least 109 points in a game was back on December 30.

The Dubs just got done dropping 257 combined points on both the Cavaliers and Bulls, so it’s highly unlikely the Pacers find a way to cool this red hot offense down.
