WHEN THE LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS HAVE THE BALL

When these two teams met February 20, the Clippers were playing better ball winners in 8-of-10. But LA suffered a tough 115-112 home loss and have struggled since including losing four of their last five games entering this division duel. The Clippers defensive issues show them allowing at least 106 points in each of the last five games, so they will need to score more if they hope to have a shot at knocking off the Warriors for the first time on their home court.

Chris Paul has averaged better than 23 points per game in 36 career games against the Warriors, his highest career scoring average against any team. Jamal Crawford is a most dangerous player off the bench and Los Angeles ranks top-7 in offensive and defensive efficiency. Those two players had team highs of 24 and 25 points in the February 20th loss to the Warriors.

The Clippers are 25-11 playing without forward Blake Griffin, who has been out since late December with injury. He continues to be bothered by a partially torn quad and his return is still delayed.

Los Angeles plays their fifth straight road games to conclude their travel trip, and the Clippers will fire plenty of 3-balls in this contest with JJ Redick expected to be a go to scorer. The league’s No. 2 rebounder DeAndre Jordan will need to come up big inside and the Clippers are likely without newly acquired Jeff Green for the second straight game following a forehead laceration.

WHEN THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS HAVE THE BALL

The Warriors have grown accustomed to getting their opponents’ best shot, and the league’s highest-scoring team at 115 points per game should enjoy the pace and match-up against the Clippers. In a recent meeting with another weak rebounding team in Dallas, the Warriors and Mavericks each took over 90 shots and the focus was on the perimeter with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry scoring 39 and 31 points respectively while going a combined 16-of-27 from the arc.

The Warriors are hitting a remarkable 41 percent from 3-point range to lead the league and the Clippers allow 34 percent long-range shooting to rank No. 10 in the league. Draymond Green continues to get stronger inside with nearly 10 rebounds per game and team-high assists at better than seven per contest.

LIVE BETTING SCENARIO

This high-paced back and forth game is going to offer lots of live betting opportunities with adjusted prices and totals. Fast pace and transition basketball should produce plenty of scoring with more shots falling and additional free throw attempts if the Clippers can rebound better. Los Angeles is 29th in the league in rebounding rate despite Jordan’s strong rebounding, and that will be something to watch while live betting as the teams push the ball more with tons of 3-point shots.

The Warriors had scored between 115 and 130 points in seven straight games before getting shut down at San Antonio March 19. In three meetings this season these two teams have combined for at least 220 points in each contest, and this figures to be another high-scoring finish.
