NBA Odds - Memphis Grizzlies at Chicago Bulls Live Betting Preview

Grizzlies-at-Bulls-Odds

The Chicago Bulls might have one of the worst ATS marks in the league at home this year at just 3-9, but they've seemed to get back on track just a bit to kick off this five-game home stand. The penultimate game of that stretch at the United States comes on Wednesday night in front of a national audience against the Memphis Grizzlies.

SCHEDULING

Live bettors have seen the Bulls play two easy unders already on this home stand, and it wouldn't be shocking if Monday's game against Philadelphia failed to reach the number either. Chicago shouldn't have any issues in preparation for this one, as it has been on a nice stretch of games and off days in succession since last Thursday.

The situation isn't quite the same for Memphis. It's not so bad for the Grizzlies, knowing that they're off on Tuesday, but they'll have played in Miami on Sunday, at home on Monday and in Chicago on Wednesday, perhaps providing a little bit more of an excuse for some fatigue to set in, especially with all three of Jarell Martin, Jordan Adams and Brandan Wright all facing injuries which have kept them out a while and could be devastating for some time to come.

KEY MATCHUP

Oh those tricky Gasol brothers! It's a bit trite to just success that the better of Marc Gasol and Pau Gasol will end up leading their team to victory on Wednesday night, but it could be a really good indication to follow in live betting.

The elder Gasol is seeing his minutes limited just a bit this year by Fred Hoiberg, as he'd rather have the Spaniard playing with higher energy for shorter spurts while letting Joakim Noah come in off the bench to replace him rather than playing alongside him. The end result is more rebounds, more shots at the basket and more assists.

Pau isn't quite the same defensive player that Marc is, though. Yes, Pau is getting more blocks, but that isn't the only metric necessary when talking about this matchup of brothers. The Gasol brothers are basically cut in the same mold, but Marc will rarely leave the court for long stretches of time, something which could become a factor for a Chicago team which loves to go small.

The Bulls aren't quite as deep as Memphis is for our money, so the simple cue to how live betting is going could be as easy as figuring out which Gasol is having the better of the run of play.

KEY STAT

The Grizzlies have clearly lost their way of late. They're a defensive team by nature, and they aren't able to get into track meets with the opposition. That being said, they've allowed at least 100 points six times in their last nine games overall, and not surprisingly, they've won just one of those six.

It's really not that the pace is so high, though. Teams are getting a bit luckier for sure, but their shot selection is just flat out better against the Grizzlies now than historically. Did you ever think you'd see this team rank No. 26 in the league in opposing field goal percentage?

This really plays right into the hands of the running Bulls. Don't let those last couple under games scare you away in NBA live betting. Memphis has fallen into the running trap far too often for the likes of its bettors, and if that turns out to be the case again, live bettors could find some opportunities for success.
