San Antonio will look to make it 12 wins in a row in the second part of a TNT Thursday night doubleheader when the it travels to Phoenix to take on the Suns. The last time these two met up was three weeks ago and the Spurs dominated the game, winning by 33. Can the Suns serve up some revenge and snap the Spurs' streak?

SCHEDULE
San Antonio is getting some big help from the schedule makers before this one. The Spurs are one of the oldest teams in the league and any time there's a break like the three days off the Spurs have before this one, it's much appreciated. Especially in this instance where Tony Parker left the previous game against the Mavericks with a sore right hip and needs the extra rest in order to recover.
The Suns will host the Spurs in the middle game of this three game home stretch. Playing this one in Phoenix gives the Suns at least a shot as they’re 9-11 in The Stick this season. Away from home, the Suns are just 4-18 on the season which equates to the second worst record in the Western Conference.
KEY MATCHUP
The last time these two played, the Spurs were without the services of Tim Duncan, yet still dominated the Suns' forwards with great performances from Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge, and reserve Boris Diaw. Leonard, Aldridge, and Diaw combined to go 19-of-29 from the field for 53 points in the rout and helped the Spurs outrebound the Suns by double digits.
Tyson Chandler was the lone bright spot for the Suns up front, registering a double-double and knocking down five of his six shots.
Phoenix was without its best player in the previous game between these two teams, but unlike Duncan, the Suns won't be getting Eric Bledsoe back in the fold after Bledsoe suffered a torn meniscus. Bledsoe was the best player on the Suns by far this season, and the only one of the Suns in the Top 50 in John Hollinger's PER stat.
Without him, the Suns have lost nine of their last 10 heading into their game against Indiana on Tuesday. In his stead, Brandon Knight has had to create the offense and although he’s tried, he just doesn't provide the same spark as Bledsoe.
LIVE BETTING SCENARIO
These two teams are heading in completely opposite directions at this point in the season. San Antonio has won 11 straight and in those 11 are 8-3 ATS. Phoenix is struggling both SU and ATS, with a 1-9 record SU and 3-7 ATS mark over its last 10 games played.
The over has been hot in Suns' games recently, with four of Phoenix's last five and six of the last eight combining to go over the closing total. On the NBA season, the over is 22-19-1 in Suns games. The converse is true with the Spurs where the under is 11-6-1 in San Antonio's 18 road games with three of their last four playing out to low scorers.
Phoenix is going to be a big underdog in this one and rightfully so with the skid it’s currently on. In their last three road games, the second quarter has been the time to hop on board with the Spurs. San Antonio is averaging outscoring its road foes by nine points in the second quarter over those last three thanks to the strength of a deep bench that very few teams in the NBA can match.
Hope that the Spurs don't run away with this way too soon and then pounce on Popovich and the Spurs in the second quarter on the readjusted pointspread.
