The episode began with the Ankgor Tribe struggling to survive with no food or shelter, but that was all about to change, at least for the time being.

On Bayon, Jeremy was celebrating in private because during the last immunity challenge, he totally went for it and grabbed a hidden immunity idol right under everyone's noses. Fish was frantic to find a hidden idol and Jeremy did a very good job of steering him up trees and down rivers to do so.

Back at Angkor, everyone was unhappy with the new camp, which was at one point compared to a dead cove, a "Survivor" ghetto, and hell.

Each tribe had to select one person to run the entire contest, which involved racing into the water and getting three sand bags that needed to be launched into a net. Ta Keo picked Terry, Bayon selected Jeremy, and Angkor went with Savage. Terry was in the military, and Jeremy is a firefighter, so it made sense. the non-Savage part did anyway.

Almost immediately all three men were struggling. “Both guys digging deep!” yelled Probst as Savage and Deitz approached the end neck and neck. Terry missed his first shot, Savage made his, and that was that. Terry finally did secure second place, leaving Jeremy in last and his tribe with nothing.

Indeed it was a particularly grueling immunity challenge, with one member from each team elected a caller, while the others were blindfolded. Using only verbal commands, the caller led the blindfolded castaways to a series of large, heavy puzzle pieces. Once collected, the teams took off their blindfolds and worked together to solve a puzzle. The first two tribes to complete the task won immunity. Bayon and Ta Keo aced the challenge, while Angkor found themselves back at the tribal council for the second straight week.

Back at camp,Abi-Maria Gomesseemed to be calling the shots, as teammatesJeff VarnerandWoo Hwang, aware they were the two most likely to be sent home, each tried to coax her into saving them.

At the tribal council, Abi-Maria confirmed it was between Jeff and Woo, and admitted she was torn -- Varner was loyal, but Hwang was stronger. Jeff also reminded Abi that Woo voted for her twice. Before the vote, Woo made one last pitch to be loyal to Gomes. In the end, Jeff was voted off by a three-to-one margin.

Contrary to his joking “You little bitch” comment to Abi on the way out, Varner took it all in stride. Jeff came into this game with the right attitude. He waited 14 years to return so was intent on soaking up every second of it. “I’m very grateful” were his final words after being voted out.

I would be too, to lose "Survivor" not once, but twice.
