We picked up where we always do at this point in the game: Cast-mates celebrating the departure of other players.
This time around it was Scot, Jason and Tai celebrating the fact that a woman went home and they still had both of their idols. But there was Tai, wanting to work on bringing the camp back together plus mending some relationships.
For the reward challenge this week, the Survivors had to balance two pots on a teeter-totter with one foot. There were three categories to compete for: Food, an advantage, or love letters from home. They could choose what they wanted to compete for and the last person standing in each category would win.
Joe and Julia were the only ones competing for letters from home. It wound up being an easy win for Julia.
Next, Scot, Jason and Michele competed for food. Scot and Jason dropped out and Michele got to eat a cheeseburger, fries and a beer.
That left Cydney, Tai and Aubry to compete for the advantage. Cydney dropped out first, with Tai ultimately winning.
For the immunity challenge, the players had to stretch out their arms and use their fingertips to press against wooden discs. The discs were attached to pots, and the last person to keep both their pots up would win a one in seven chance to snap up a million dollars.
Joe, Scot, Julia and Michele dropped fairly quickly. Tai and Cydney followed, leaving only Aubry and Jason. The two lasted an hour and 15 minutes, but Aubry couldn't hold on. Jason scored immunity.
Jason celebrated with Tai and Scot. Julia told Jason and Scot that her plan was to flush Tai's idol. They told her it didn't matter to them because Tai's not in their "final three" plans anyway; but she is/was!
Tai had a lot to figure out before Tribal. He was scared of upsetting Jason and Scot, but he wanted to play the game that's best for him.
At Tribal, Jason handed his hidden immunity idol over to Scot. In the event of emergency, Scot and Tai both would have idols to combine for the super idol for one of themselves.
Before the votes could even be read, Julia got aggressive, telling Tai to play his idol. Scot was equally aggressive telling him not to.
The votes came out and there were two for Tai, two for Aubry and four for Scot.
Scot looked at Tai for the idol so they can play the super idol. No deal, dude. You're the one who got played.
