Survivor-Sept25

Stalwart host Jeff Probst reminded us how we got here: The selection of former players was determined by viewers' votes. Then we were introduced to the breathtaking scenery of Cambodia and some of the players.

Kelly Wigglesworth, who lost Season One by a single vote, said she can do anything. Andrew Savage is haunted by his torch snuffing. Spencer Bledsoe "was cocky the first time he played, but now he's in a better place."

Kimmi Kappenberg wants a second chance at her dream of getting to the end. Kelley Wentworth remembered playing with her dad and suffering the consequences. Ciera Eastin played scared, but now "she's fearless."

Tasha Fox played nice the first time, but her "church members urged her to lie and back stab to win so she will, and pray for forgiveness later." Jeff Varner said something about peanut butter.

Joe Anglim came up short and was devastated. "His time is now." Kass McQuillen admitted to being a troublemake. Abi-Maria Gomes "made a lot of mistakes."

Jeremy Collins wasn't focused and was blindsided, took it hard, and just needs to do this again, for redemption. Yes, Jeremy - redemption. Not the million bucks. Right.

The players rowed out to meet Probst on a large boat, and were promptly divided into the two tribes -- Ta Keo and Bayon.

The survivors must swim to Probst's boat, climb up and claim as much booty as they can, loading it onto flimsy rafts. They then must row their loaded rafts to a second boat. First one there gets to claim a single bag of rice.

Later, Keith Nale and Jeremy, who played on the same season and are both firefighters, discussed an alliance.

Over at Ta Keo, Vytas Baskauskas was making nice with the women on the tribe.

And just like that, it's Day Three. Kelley was looking for a hidden immunity idol and finds a clue to where the hidden immunity idol is -- under a tripod at the immunity challenge.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE

The challenge is a salute to the first one from the first season. Winning tribe takes immunity and also a bunch of stuff for making fire.

Ta Keo took an early lead when Bayon's Keith had trouble keeping the torch lit, but Bayon made up ground and with Joe building the stick and retrieving the key, his tribe won immunity and reward.

Wigglesworth took the blame. She was in charge of the stick building and key retrieval, but first she built the stick too short and too flimsy to support the key.

Probst told them they are headed to tribal council, and that it's going to happen right now.

Oh, and Kelley managed to grab the hidden immunity idol without anyone seeing her.

TRIBAL COUNCIL

Probst tallied and reads. Votes were split between Vytas and Abi-Maria, and in the first surprise of the season, Vytas was sent home.
