Bachelor-Sept4

Monday night's episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" marked the arrival of a few new cast members. With the season wrapping up very soon, which should make the final stretch very interesting.

We were re-introduced to Chelsie Webster late in the previous episode. She wasted no time asking out Nick Peterson, who was eager to end his relationship with Ashley Salter. The breakup left Ashley feeling upset; she told the cameras (and the audience, obviously) she'd felt deceived.

Chelsie and Nick became acquainted on an ocean cruise, but fireworks were nowhere to be found.

Mackenzie Deonigi - from the recent Chris Soules’ season of "The Bachelor" - joined the crew in Mexico and paired up with Justin Reich, who on Sunday night's episode went out with Amber James. Mackenzie and Justin took part in a Spanish ceremony led by a shaman that involved smoke and mud. It ended with the shaman telling them, "You're married." The stuff of most male nightmares, but not on reality TV!

Jaclyn Swartz, previously a contestant on Ben Flajnik’s season of "The Bachelor," showed up to paradise and had her sights set on Jared Haibon. Jared was interested in her, too, but Ashley I. -- who's had a crush on Jared all season -- had a trick up her sleeve.

Lest you forgot, they faced some drama when Jared went on a date with Clare Crawley, but they have since been giving each other their roses and Jared did finally kissed Ashley I.

This past week she snapped up an overnight fantasy suite date card and approached Jared with it. Jared agreed to the date, and Ashley I. implied to the cameras she was considering losing her virginity to him. This led to a ton of media coverage - social media mostly - and largely not unlike the type of stuff our most recent "Bachelorette" had to put up with.

That left us with a cliffhanger for the two-night season finale, which begins this Sunday night on ABC. (Editor's Note: Message boards are absolutely loaded with speculation that things will not end well with Ashley I. and Jared.)

But there is also Joe Bailey and Juelia Kinney. Juelia is absolutely smitten with Joe, but Joe has been a complete jerk behind the scenes. And spoilers say that things will end in heartbreak for Juelia with Samantha Steffe's imminent arrival on the show.

Tenley found herself in a crazy love square with Josh, JJ, and Michael last week, but she ultimately did pick Josh. So will things work out between Tenley and Josh? I believe that Tenley and Josh will keep giving their roses to each other. I suspect that they won't survive the finale, though. Now Tenley is facing rumors that she’s dating Ben Higgins and isn’t over her ex Kiptyn Locke.

The one couple that is most likely to make it? Jade and Tanner. They completely hit it off on their one-on-one date and their roses have been a given ever since. Predictions say that Jade and Tanner will get engaged during the finale. And sources say that they’re still together. In fact, some sources say Jade and Tanner are currently living together!

Other Predictions: Joe has become the ultimate villain. He took Juelia on his date, kissed her and led her to believe that they had a connection, but it’s all going to lead to Juelia’s heartbreak because he’s been waiting for Samantha.

It is rumored that Samantha and Joe will reveal they actually knew each other prior to the show. Nick Peterson will show up and reveal that he and Samantha knew each other too, and Joe will freak out. But Samantha will end up giving her rose to Dan Cox and Joe will be sent home.

Oh, and Carly and Kirk won't make it, and they’ll both go home. So sad!
