Twelve artists have now advanced to the live shows. Highlights from this past week include:

The first pairing of the week, a Team Blake face-off between Angie Keilhauer and Paxton Ingram. First to rehearse was Ingram, choosing to sing “Hometown Glory” by Adele. Guest coach Miley Cyrus encouraged him to really focus on the low notes. Keilhauer also wanted to tackle a song with challenging vocals, going with Sam Hunt's “Take Your Time." Cyrus reworked the arrangement, showcasing her abilities as a producer. (Side note: Next season, she will be a new coach alongside Alicia Keys.)

Ultimately, Keilhauer and Ingram both showcased their strengths and artistry. Keilhauer seems like the more obvious fit for Team Blake, but Ingram outperformed her, plain and simple. Pharrell praised Ingram’s control over those low notes. Shelton picked Ingram as the winner.

Levine paired Owen Danoff with Ryan Quinn, noting that the two are very different singers. Danoff decided to sing Billy Joel's oldie-but-goodie “She’s Always A Woman." Quinn chose “Drops Of Jupiter” by Train, and in his rehearsal Levine pushed him to sing less and feel more, with Cyrus adding that he needs to emote through a real connection to the lyrics.

Danoff's performance was understated but captivating. Quinn gave an emotional performance. He struggled a bit rhythmically, but overall, it was a strong performance. Levine ended up choosing Danoff as the winner. Fortunately for Quinn, though, Aguilera went in for the steal.

Team Pharrell was up next, with Hannah Huston and Malik Heard going toe-to-toe. Heard, who Pharrell stole from Team Christina during the Battle Round, chose to sing “Isn’t She Lovely.”

Huston also went a soulful route, singing “House Of The Rising Sun” and hoping to put her own spin on it.

Pharrell crowned Huston as the champion, and Heard went home.

Night Two highlights included:

Team Pharrell's Moushumi defeated Nick Hagelin. Nick’s gorgeous falsetto made this the closest Knockout of the night, but the way he struggled to keep up the quick cadence on parts of the verses sealed his fate —even though he’d have made a much better steal than Monday night’s Lacy Mandigo or perhaps even Ryan Quinn.

Team Xtina's Tamar Davis was chosen over Maya Smith. Lucky for Tamar, Maya was consistently sharp for at least half her performance, making Xtina’s decision a no-brainer.

Team Blake's Adam Wakefield killed with Sam Cooke’s “Bring It on Home to Me,” defeating Peyton Parker. Parker offered up a take on the Dixie Chicks’ “Traveling Soldier,” Xtina’s got a “country crush” on Adam (whatever that means). Don’t be shocked if he winds up in the finale.
