2016-Top-Chef-California-Betting-Lines

Post-Kwame, it was time to determine the final chefs on Top Chef 2016, which led to a double elimination on Top Chef California 2016 last week.

By now you may knowwho got eliminated, but do you know who to put your money on for the season finale? BookMaker is here to help!

The night started with a Sudden Death Quickfire Challenge. Yes, one of the chefs would be heading home directly following the challenge. For the challenge, they had to make toast. Sound simple? Not quite. This time around, it was Carl with the favorite dish, and that meant Amar was eliminated and headed to Last Chance Kitchen.

From there, the remaining four chefs were put to the task of creating one dish, as they opened the doors tothe legendary eatery Fleur de Lys one last time, and their dish had to be a tribute to the restaurant.

Overall, the judges were very impressed with Jeremy’s dish and he was the winner, sweeping both challenges on the night.

The judges had concerns with all three of the other dishes and it seemed up in the air on who they would send home. It was Marjorie and Isaac joining Jeremy in the Top Chef Season 13 finale next week and Carl headed toLast Chance Kitchento fight for a spot in the finale as well.

Ultimately, Carl had the better dish. It's unfortunate that Amar made it so far, only to be unceremoniously sent home in the middle of the day in an empty restaurant, but this is how Top Chef rolls.

Given the escalation of the competition and the fact that the chefs were cooking in the city where this whole franchise was born, Padma brought in yet another special guest judge -Hubert Keller. He's the actual owner of Fleur de Lys and a late-seasonTop Chefmainstay judge.

Fleur de Lys closed its doors in Juneafter decades of setting the bar for French fine dining. For this last elimination before the finale, the chefs were each tasked with cooking one dish that celebrated the iconic restaurant. They were also to be the last chefs to cook in that kitchen, which is fittingly where the first Quickfire was held, way back in season one.

As a treat, and to help guide them through this momentous challenge, Keller invited the four chefs to have a dinner he was preparing at Fleur de Lys. No sentimental meal on this show would be complete without Emeril Lagasse, who showed up in the dining room with a bottle of wine in each hand. Bam!

The next day, it became clear that Isaac and Carl both bit off more than they could chew with this challenge. Concerned by his lack of a fine-dining background in comparison to the rest of the chefs, Isaac decided to do a duck ballotine, which is a time-consuming dish. And not just one - seven.

At Judges' Table, they recognized that although there were mistakes, all of the dishes really honored the restaurant and made for an enjoyable send off to Fleur de Lys and to Hubert Keller. The winner for the challenge was Jeremy, who's now back to being at the top of the pack like he was at the beginning of the season.

The remaining three chefs all know they made mistakes and are all hoping for one of the two remaining spots in the finale.

So that's the final three. Well, kind of. Someone is coming back from Last Chance Kitchen, so there will be a final four before then a final three one more time. Does that make sense?

Well, maybe this will: My money is on Jeremy. Until we find out who the Last Chance Kitchen candidate is, that is.
