ODDS

The total for this games has remained relatively steady, dropping just a half point from 60 to 59.5 as the under has gotten a bit more attention.

As for the spread, bettors have jumped on the Aggies’ bandwagon after their 3-0 start as the teams get set to meet in the middle on neutral turf.

With the action in favor of Texas A&M, the spread has jumped up to -7 from the original -5.5 opener.

WHEN THE TEXAS A&M AGGIES HAVE THE BALL

The Aggies offense has been rolling early, averaging 46 points and 487.7 yards per game.

In total, Texas A&M ranks No. 28 in total yards per game and is also near the top with its 16 total touchdowns.

Quarterback Kyle Allen already has nine touchdowns, but he did have a costly pick against the Wolf Pack last week. Tra Carson also had a lost fumble.

Keep an eye early to see if the Aggies display a bit better ball control to eliminate the turnovers. Against Nevada, it was the turnovers that allowed the game to remain close. If Texas A&M can close up that gap, they could break away.

Another thing to keep an eye on is if the Aggies are able to find holes in the Arkansas defense up the middle. The team is built to dominate the middle of the field and if they are in fact doing that, this may be a nice offensive day so you may be able to find good odds on the over.

WHEN THE ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS HAVE THE BALL

The Razorbacks are close to the Aggies in yards per game at 476.3, but have had a bit more trouble converting that yardage into points, averaging just 28 per game.

As shown in the lower point total, but high yardage, Arkansas has struggled some generating huge plays, instead, they’ve done well constantly gaining yards and slowly moving the ball down the field.

For this type of offense to work, the Razorbacks need to avoid too many losses. Meanwhile, the Aggies are actually the top team in tackles for loss. They’re an aggressive bunch that attempts to disrupt the offense rather than just stop it.

Because of this, Texas A&M could be a problem for the Razorbacks’ defense. Keep an eye on whether the Aggies are able to constantly break through the line and force a loss or if the Razorbacks are able to take advantage of the defensive aggressiveness.

If one side or the other are breaking through, it may offer you a good chance to jump in and get a good line on either side.

BETTING TRENDS AND MATCHUPS

The Aggies have won the last three games between these two teams, but it’s the Razorbacks who’ve beaten the spread five of the six times these teams have met over the last decade.

Texas A&M haven’t exactly excelled ATS at neutral sites, going 4-11 in its last 15 and are just 1-6 ATS in its last seven conference games.

On the other hand, the Razorbacks are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall though like the Aggies, have struggled on neutral turf, going just 2-6 ATS in their last eight games.

As for the total, the under has paid out in seven of Arkansas’s last eight games while the over has paid out more frequently in Aggies’ games, including five of their last seven.
