BIG 10 GAME OF THE WEEK
Saturday, September 26, 2015
Brigham Young Cougars + 5.5 at Michigan Wolverines - 5.5, Total 44.5
Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, Michigan - Noon, ET, ABC
The No. 22 ranked BYU Cougars head to the “Big House” to take on the upstart Michigan Wolverines in a nationally televised game on ABC.
Having beaten Boise State and Nebraska, BYU has earned a pair of quality victories. The Cougars came up just short last week, falling to tenth ranked UCLA.
Michigan improved to 2-1 with a victory over UNLV, but will have to play much better if they want to stay in the game against a good BYU club.
BookMaker sportsbook have the Wolverines as a 5.5 point favorite.
The series’ only prior matchup came in the 1984 Holiday Bowl in which BYU prevailed 24-17 and sealed the program’s only national championship.
Michigan’s defense is stout but their offense has struggled to put points on the board. The Wolverines have played three under games in a row and after this week, they will have played four. MIchigan wins 21-17 in a hard fought defensive battle.
