The bad news for the Central Florida Knights is that they could lose their head coach soon. The good news is that, before they do, the No. 15 Knights have a chance to go undefeated this year.
Central Florida coach Scott Frost is reportedly being pursued by multiple top programs after his team’s success this season. The Knights are 11-0 coming into this AAC championship game against the No. 20 Memphis Tigers.
Central Florida hasn’t played a tough enough schedule to be a legitimate option to play in the college football playoff but it can find a prestigious bowl game by finishing the season as high as possible in the rankings and undefeated.
Kickoff for this regular season Week 14game is set for Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 12 p.m. ET at Spectrum Stadium.

Odds Analysis
Central Florida is a touchdown favorite and has the superior record, but the betting public believes in Memphis’ ability to make this one a game as more than 58 percent of the action is on the Tigers to cover.
The scoring total is extremely high as both teams are averaging at least 47 points per game. This should be a wildly entertaining shootout and 55 percent of the money is on the “over” even though each side needs to score a boatload of points for it to happen.
Coaching Angle
Frost has been rumored to be headed to take over at Nebraska, which is his alma mater. The pairing makes sense and it would not be a surprise if it is announced at some point. Frost is the former offensive coordinator at Oregon who keeps on finding success at multiple stops.
It could be a bit of a distraction for his team if Frost reportedly accepts the Nebraska position this week.
Memphis is coached by Mike Norvell, who is also a hot name on the coaching circuit. He is the former offensive coordinator at Arizona State who has done a great job taking a program like Memphis and finding success.
He could get offers elsewhere but may also choose to stay until he finds the right situation. Both of these coaches are bright football minds, and it will be a fun chess match to see them face off.
Player To Watch
Anthony Miller -- The Memphis wide receiver has been one of the most prolific pass-catchers in the country this season. He has 78 catches for 1,212 yards and 14 touchdowns on the year.
His most prominent game came against Connecticut earlier this season when Miller hauled in 15 catches for 224 yards and four touchdowns. It’s hard to find too many individual performances better than that one in this year’s college football season.
Miller has more than 300 yards receiving and three touchdowns in Memphis’ past two games and would love to put together another big outing.
Free ATS Pick
The first time these teams played, UCF cruised to a 40-13 win. Memphis held a 7-6 lead after one quarter but the Knights dominated from there. Central Florida racked up more than 600 total yards as quarterback McKenzie Milton threw for three touchdowns and Adrian Killins, Jr. accounted for two others.
Memphis should learn a lot from that game and will be able to keep this one closer. The Tigers have come a long way from that blowout loss and will make UCF sweat out a close win in a game that should be wildly entertaining.
While the scoring total is really high, the “over” is the right call in a game that is going to be a high-scoring thriller. Take Memphis to cover this spread but the Knights on the moneyline.
College Football Odds: Central Florida 48, Memphis 42
