The teams will play at a neutral site and the spread is low enough that this game could go either way. Texas A&M has had an adventurous non-conference slate, blowing a huge lead in a loss to UCLA and then needing a rally to knock off Louisiana-Lafayette last time out.
Despite those struggles, this is still a winnable game as the Razorbacks are coming off a blowout loss to TCU. Both of these teams badly need this win and it should be a competitive showdown.
Kickoff for this regular season Week 4 game is set for Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 12 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium.

Arkansas +2.5
Texas A&M -2.5
Over/Under 55
Odds Analysis
The Razorbacks are the underdogs but the majority of the betting public likes getting those points, with more than 58 percent of the money on Arkansas to cover. The scoring total is lower than in most Texas A&M games because Arkansas plays lower-scoring affairs, and the “under” has been the more popular choice.
Texas A&M is a -135 favorite on the moneyline. Arkansas is the +115 underdog and most of the money is on the Razorbacks to pull the upset. The action in this game clearly favors the Razorbacks to do better than expected.
Key Stat
7. That was the halftime deficit Texas A&M faced last week against Louisiana-Lafayette, which isn’t a good sign. The Aggies turned it on in the second half with 31 unanswered points to eventually cruise to the win, but even allowing a small-conference team to hang around is dispiriting.
Texas A&M has looked really good at times in each of its games but has been way too inconsistent. Never was that more clear than in the season opener, when it jumped out to a 44-10 lead on UCLA late in the third quarter and then watched UCLA rally all the way back for a 45-44 win.
Texas A&M freshman quarterback Kellen Mond was thrown into the fire in that game and didn’t perform well, but has been better since then. He needs to play well in order for the Aggies to win this game and cover the spread.
Player to Watch
Chase Hayden -- Texas A&M isn’t great defensively, and Arkansas will aim to establish the ground game in this matchup. Hayden is a big part of that. He has carried the ball 16 times this season for a team-high 121 yards, which is a robust 7.6 yards-per-carry. He has a touchdown and would love to find the end zone in this one.
The Aggies wouldn’t mind getting into a shootout as they have the more explosive personnel. Arkansas wants to keep the score lower, and if Hayden and the rest of the running backs can control the tempo on the ground, it will give the Razorbacks a shot at the upset.
Free ATS Pick
This isn’t technically a home game for Texas A&M but it should have the larger contingent of fans. The Aggies have a lot of heat on them right now for their start and coach Kevin Sumlin hopes to see a turnaround soon.
The heavy money on Arkansas is a bit of an overreaction. Texas A&M might not be a great team but it has enough talent to take care of business in this one. Go against the grain by choosing the Aggies to both win this game and cover the spread.
The “over” is the correct call on the scoring total.
College Football Odds: Texas A&M 33, Arkansas 27
