The Oklahoma State Cowboys are looking to make amends to their fans after their performance in their last home game. Oklahoma State was a double-digit favorite against TCU, but ended up seeing its undefeated season fall by the wayside in a 44-31 loss. The last time we saw the Cowboys, they were struggling against a Texas Tech team that gave them all they could ask for. This week's game against the Baylor Bears should be a much easier affair.
This matchup in Week 7 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. ET at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. This game will be broadcast on FS1.

Odds Analysis
Things have not gone well for Matt Rhule in his first season as head coach of the Baylor Bears. To be fair, he inherited a mess of a situation and is completely overhauling the program by installing his system. Still, you think the Bears would have won a game this season. Baylor is 0-5 and has now lost 11 of its last 12 dating back to 2016. It failed to cover in any of its three non-conference games, but did cover against both Oklahoma and Kansas State.
Oklahoma State has not had the same luck in conference play. The Cowboys went 3-0 SU and ATS in their non-conference slate, but have yet to cover against a Big 12 opponent. Over has been a popular bet with the Cowboys in the past because of their high-octane offense. This season, the over is 3-2 because totals are through the roof. Against Texas Tech, the total was 85 points and the 41-34 scoreline fell well short of the number.
Player to Watch
James Washington is the best wide receiver in the country. Washington doesn’t see a lot of balls in Oklahoma State’s offense, but he is a threat to score each time a pass is thrown his way. He is the best deep ball threat in the nation, averaging 23.1 yards per reception so far this season.
Washington is in the top ten in almost every receiving category this season. He is averaging 23.1 yards per reception, and his 647 yards are the fourth-most in the nation.
He does have a great quarterback to throw him the ball, and his success means that other receivers see single coverage. Baylor must keep an eye on him at all times.
Key Stat
Baylor has the second-worst defense in the Big 12, trailing only Kansas in that category. The Bears are allowing 472 yards per game, and 6.3 yards per play this season. They were torched in their season opener by lowly Liberty and Oklahoma racked up over 600 total yards against them a few weeks ago.
Those numbers should be worse after this one. Baylor’s defense has been helped by playing three offenses that aren’t that strong in UTSA, Duke, and Kansas State. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State has the second-best offense in the country and is averaging 7.9 yards per play, trailing only Oklahoma.
Free ATS Pick
It’s hard to imagine a way that Baylor keeps this one close. The Bears have a decent offense, but nothing like what the Cowboys have. They haven’t gotten good quarterback play this season, and that’s a recipe for disaster in the pass happy Big 12.
Even though things have gotten better under new quarterback Zach Smith, this team is still behind the eight ball. Rudolph is going to put up video game numbers against this defense coming off of a bye week. Don’t be surprised to see Oklahoma State put up its best offensive performance of the year after two straight questionable performances in Big 12 conference play.
