The Auburn Tigers have a pair of gigantic games coming up, and if they can somehow knock off both Georgia and Alabama, they could find themselves in the national championship conversation. First things first, as they will have a road matchup in Week 10 against the Texas A&M Aggies.
Texas A&M has talent but has lost two of its past three games and will be a significant underdog despite playing in front of its fans. The Tigers might be the most impressive two-loss team in the country but can’t afford a slip-up in this one.
This matchup in Week 10 of the regular season will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 12 p.m. ET at Kyle Field.

Odds Analysis
Auburn is the heavy road favorite but the bettors think the spread is too high, as nearly 60 percent of the action is on Texas A&M to cover. The scoring total is lower than usual for a college game because of Auburn’s excellent job on defense. The “under” is the more popular choice in this one, with 71 percent of the action heading that way.
Auburn is listed as the -675 favorite in this matchup. Texas A&M is the +492 underdog on the moneyline, and that line has intrigued bettors as it is a lucrative payoff.
Key Stat
15.6. That’s how many points per game this stout Auburn defense has allowed this season. This week, the Tigers face a Texas A&M offense that is averaging nearly 30 points a game.
The Aggies run an extremely balanced offense so Auburn will need to be ready on both fronts. Dual-threat quarterback Kellen Mond has thrown for 1,281 yards with seven touchdowns and six interceptions.
Mond’s mobility is a plus, but will need to limit the mistakes against the Tigers who will be all-too-ready to turn those turnovers into points. The Tigers are coming off a bye week and will have fresh legs coming into this one.
Auburn has held five opponents to 14 points or less this season, including Clemson and Mississippi State. If Texas A&M turns the ball over a lot in this one, it could result in a rout.
Player To Watch
Kerryon Johnson — Auburn’s junior running back has been asked to shoulder the bulk of the carries this season as Kamryn Pettway, who was the leading rusher for the team a year ago, has been plagued by injuries. Pettway ran for three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 52-20 win over Arkansas two weeks ago, but has once again been bit by the injury bug and will miss extended time with a fractured scapula, it was announced this week.
That means Johnson will once again be the go-to on the ground. He has racked up 723 yards on 137 carries with 14 touchdowns in six games for the Tigers this season.
Johnson missed two games back in September after sustaining a hamstring injury in the season opener against Georgia Southern. Now that he’s healthy, however, he’s proven to be quite a weapon for the Tigers and they’ll need him at full strength with Pettway sidelined again.
Free ATS Pick
Texas A&M played No. 1 ranked Alabama tough, so it has shown the ability to hang with anyone. This game is at home, so there is more reason to believe the Aggies will keep this one competitive. Auburn has been dominant at times on both sides of the ball and that balance should help it win this contest.
However, Texas A&M is going to make the Tigers work for it. Take Auburn to win but the Aggies to cover the spread, while the “over” is the correct choice on the scoring total.
College Football Odds: Auburn 34, Texas A&M 24
