Indiana isn’t as talented but does get to play this game at home. The Hoosiers’ defense will look to take advantage of an uncertain quarterback situation for Michigan. An upset here would be a great win for Indiana and a devastating one for the Wolverines, although it will take a lot of things to go right for Indiana for it to happen.
This contest in Week 7 of the regular season will go down Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 12 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium.

Odds Analysis
Michigan has been creeping up as the favorite, and now it’s a touchdown difference on the spread. More than 94 percent of the action is taking the Wolverines to cover, so that line could keep increasing in order to get some money on Indiana in this one.
The scoring total is lower than most college games but the bettors still believe it is too high, as the “under” is the more popular choice.
Michigan is -255 on the moneyline to win this game while the Hoosiers are listed at +211. Like the spread, the Wolverines are the much more popular choice on the moneyline.
Key Stat
13.6. That’s how many points per game Michigan’s defense is allowing on average each week. The Wolverines rank No. 1 in the nation for total defense right now and are holding opponents to a miniscule 3.63 yards per play.
This week, Michigan face a decent offense in Indiana that is averaging 25.6 points and 408.4 yards per game. The Wolverines’ endurance will be tested with the Hoosiers up-tempo, no-huddle style as well.
Indiana must be patient offensively and live with punts, because any stupid turnovers will allow Michigan to pull out to a lead, and then it would be very challenging to mount a comeback.
Player To Watch
John O'Korn— The Michigan quarterback will be looking to shake off last week’s loss and lackluster performance against Indiana this week in his second start of the season. O'Korn threw three interceptions in the Wolverines’ loss to rival Michigan State on Saturday.
He finished the game 16-of-35 passes for 198 yards with no touchdowns. And, although there were other issues on offense that attributed to the loss, he will need to make better decision this week against Indiana.
O’Korn took over as the starter after Wilton Speight suffered a likely season-ending back injury against Purdue on September 23rd. The redshirt senior does have starting experience and in fact had a standout freshman when he was at Houston, throwing for 3,117 yards. O’Korn needs to pick it up in this one.
Free ATS Pick
Michigan has quarterback issues but is the better team everywhere else on the field. The Wolverines should come out with a sense of urgency and eventually establish themselves.
Indiana has a decent team and gets this one at home, but Michigan’s talent will eventually be too much to handle. The Hoosiers are not yet ready for primetime as they don’t have the type of consistent recruiting victories that Michigan does and is playing with inferior personnel.
The Wolverines aren’t going to put together the prettiest performance in this one but will do enough to not only win the game but cover the spread as well. Take the “over” as the defenses could score themselves or put the offenses in good spots.
