The PAC-12 North Division title is still up for grabs and two of the teams vying for it will square off in the Bay Area on Friday night. The Washington Huskies are the lone PAC-12 team remaining with a shot at getting to the College Football Playoff, but they have a long way to go. Losing to Arizona State is a tough pill to swallow and this team needs to win out and get help in order to make it back to the CFP. Meanwhile, the Stanford Cardinal are just looking for a division title at this point after a loss to the Washington State Cougars last week.
This matchup in Week 11 of the regular season will take place on Friday, November 10, 2017, at 10:30 p.m. ET at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, California. This game will be broadcast on FS1.

Odds Analysis
This line hasn’t moved since it opened, but don’t be surprised if you see money come in on Stanford late. The Cardinal have been dominant at home this year, winning all three of their home games by at least 10 points. They hammered both UCLA and Oregon in Stanford and are now looking for revenge after suffering an embarrassing loss to Washington last year. The under has cashed in five straight Stanford games.
We still don’t know too much about this Washington team. The Huskies didn’t play anyone of note in their non-conference schedule and the only team with a winning record they have beaten is Fresno State. To be fair to Chris Petersen’s squad, they have taken care of business for the most part and are 6-3 ATS. However, if you want an indication of the quality of opponents they have faced, they have been an 11-point favorite or more in every game.
Last Meeting
It was total domination when these two teams met last year. Stanford came into Seattle with a Heisman Trophy hopeful at running back and wanted to prove it was still the team to beat in the PAC-12 North. However, Christian McCaffrey could never get on track and he ended up having one of the worst collegiate games of his career.
McCaffrey managed just 79 total yards on 17 touches from scrimmage. On a team bereft of other offensive options, McCaffrey needed to have a huge game, but the Huskies were able to shut him down and dominated this game as a result.
Does that sound similar to what we have this year? Bryce Love has been phenomenal as the new running back in Palo Alto, but the team doesn’t have much else. When he was unable to play against Oregon State a couple weeks ago, the Cardinal looked totally listless on offense and needed a mistake in order to gut out a 15-14 victory. Love has to have a good game for Stanford to pull off the upset.
Matchup to Watch
We know that Washington has one of the best defenses in the country. Even though the numbers for the Huskies are greatly helped by the schedule they have played, this defense has been great in every phase of the game.
If you haven’t paid much attention to Stanford this season, you might be shocked to see just how bad this team has been on the defensive end. The Cardinal are not even in the top half of the nation in total defense and have struggled against the run. That’s not good news when facing a Washington team that would love to pound the ball with Myles Gaskin.
Free ATS Pick
If you are thinking about betting on the Huskies, make sure to account for their atrocious kicking game. Washington’s two kickers have combined to go 9 of 17 on the season and they are 1 of 5 from 40 yards out or longer.
While Stanford has struggled on defense, the Cardinal have hung in tough near the goal line. That is going to be the storyline in this game as Washington wins the total yardage battle but doesn’t turn those chances into enough points to get the cover.
College Football Odds: Washington 20, Stanford 14
