Notable Line Movement

Northwestern vs. Pittsburgh ( Over/Under 64.5 )

Totals are sometimes considered secondary in bowl games, but here in the Pinstripe Bowl, we've seen a relatively big move on the under over the course of the last few days. Pittsburgh was surprisingly one of the higher scoring teams in the FBS this season between points scored and points allowed, and most figured that would translate over into the Pinstripe Bowl as well. But with frigid cold temperatures in the forecast in the Bronx on Wednesday, many are hopping on the under before the official weather report comes out for this one.

The total in the Pinstripe Bowl originally opened at 68 and was down to 66 as of this report last week. But in the last few days, the number has dipped all the way to 64.5 and could fall even more when push comes to shove. This is definitely a line to keep an eye on as kickoff approaches.

Indiana ( +6 ) vs. Utah

We've really had a rash of upsets and near upsets in the bowl season to date, and that's part of the reason why we've seen a bunch of the big underdogs ultimately start to come down in price just a bit.

Indiana is one of said teams. The Hoosiers are still the decided underdogs in the Foster Farms Bowl, but that margin is getting smaller by the day and has dropped under a touchdown. The original line movement was subtle, but all of a sudden, the Hoosiers are down under a TD underdog, and that just didn't seem like it was going to happen at the start of this bowl season.

Tennessee ( -6.5 ) vs. Nebraska

It was inevitable that the Volunteers were going to be one of the most public teams on the board in the bowl season. They're playing a de facto home game in Nashville, and they've gone from laying 3.5 to laying 6.5 in a very short period of time. Do keep in mind though, that these Cornhuskers are used to playing these de facto "road games" in the postseason, and last year, they beat up UCLA out in California at the Foster Farms Bowl. Could the Children of the Corn do the same to silence Rocky Top?
