Football is just a few days from officially being back! It's all going to start off with the opening games on Thursday and will continue through the end of the second annual College Football Playoff early in January. If you think you've got the National Champions picked out, now is the time to bet on them, because you're never going to find a better price on them than you'll have right now.

Of course, the team which remains the favorite to win the National Championship is Ohio State, the team which won it last year.
Throughout the course of the spring, the Buckeyes have moved Braxton Miller to wide receiver, leaving the door open for J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones to be the two quarterbacks on the team. Ezekiel Elliot is one of the Heisman hopefuls, and for good reason. He's playing on a team which really doesn't have a game it should lose this year, and if you look closely, up until the Big Ten Championship Game, there probably isn't a game on the docket in which OSU won't be favored by double-digits.
However, we have a really tough time getting just +275 on any team at this time of year, even if it does seem like a mortal lock the Buckeyes are playing in the playoff in January.
Instead, one of our top bets at the moment is another Big Ten team, Wisconsin. Sure, the Badgers have a hell of a schedule, but they really have a no-lose game in Week 1 against Alabama. If Wisconsin pulls off the upset, you can bet that it will be a 20 to 1 team to win it all this time next week. If not, it's still going to take finding a way to beat out Ohio State and sneaky Michigan State to get into the playoff.
As far as that Alabama team goes, it has one test and one test only that we see outside of Wisconsin, that being Auburn. These two teams are +780 and +1244 respectively. Most believe that at least one of the two, if not both of the two, are going to be playing in the playoff, though it would be really tough for the loser of the Iron Bowl to make their way into the final four.
That's why we think TCU has a great chance to get into the playoff as well. Trevone Boykin is the Heisman Trophy favorite this year after a season in which his team went 12-1 and rightfully probably should have been in the College Football Playoff. You can bet that if the Horned Frogs go 11-1 for the second straight season, they aren't going to be spurned by the playoff, and one quick look at this schedule – and remember, there is no conference title game to play – is proof enough for us that a 11-1 is the absolute worst this team should do as long as Boykin is upright and playing at a high level.
