The MAC West is a four-team race with just a few weeks left to play. The Western Michigan Broncos are right in the thick of it at 5-0. Winning this game would go a long way towards setting up a potential rematch against the Bowling Green Falcons in the MAC Championship Game.

Western Michigan Broncos +3.5
ODDS ANALYSIS
The Falcons are very likely on their way to the MAC Championship Game, but they are still going to need to ultimately win another game or two in conference play to ensure that trip to Detroit.
The MAC West leaders are underdogs in this game at +3.5, but they aren't going to be intimidated at home against a great offensive team like Bowling Green.
Don't be surprised if this line ends up moving more in favor of the Falcons, though. They are the more known of the two teams, and they have been public in a number of their MAC games thus far this season.
WHEN THE BOWLING GREEN FALCONS HAVE THE BALL
This Bowling Green offense is crazy. The Falcons have scored at least 48 points in four straight games after hitting a bit of a lull in the middle of the year.
Live bettors have to be in love with Matt Johnson, who has 33 TDs against just three picks. He has been picked off on just 0.8 percent of his throws this year, and for our money, he should be on the Heisman short list, though we know he probably won't be.
These four receivers which the Falcons have at their disposal are just crazy. Roger Lewis already has 1,224 yards and 12 scores. Ronnie Moore, Gehrig Dieter and Ryan Burbrink all have at least 500 receiving yards, too.
The Broncos aren't great defensively, but they aren't slouches either. They've averaging almost a pick per game and have held quarterbacks to 221.1 passing yards per game. They won't accomplish that in this game without a yeoman's effort, but they might be able to slow down a seemingly unstoppable offense.
WHEN THE WESTERN MICHIGAN BRONCOS HAVE THE BALL
There's going to be a lot of attention paid to Johnson in this one, but the Broncos very quietly have a quarterback in Zach Terrell with a 170.4 quarterback rating this year. Terrell has 23 TDs against six picks, and though his numbers aren't as impressive as Johnson's, he's averaging almost nine yards per pass attempt and is completing a tick under 70 percent of his passes.
The thing that Western Michigan has this year is great balance. Jarvion Franklin and Jamauri Bogan have combined for over 1,300 rushing yards this year, and that's why this offense continues to move the ball with ease.
No, the Broncos aren't averaging 600 yards per game like Bowling Green, but they've put up at least 35+ in five games in a row, too.
This Bowling Green defense has come on strong, but it's been a while since it has faced an offense of this caliber. We know that you can score on the Falcons. It isn't a mistake that they allowed 38 to Massachusetts, 28 to Purdue, 44 to Memphis and 59 to Tennessee. Live bettors should know that points could hit the board in bunches in this game, but for a change, the team playing against Bowling Green might ultimately be the one on the scoring brigade.
