The Florida Gators haven't had the prettiest season in the world, but there's no doubting the fact that they're two wins away from going to the College Football Playoff. The Florida State Seminoles have been the alpha team of these two for the last couple years though, and though they're underdogs, they're going to come to Gainesville expecting to win this game.

ODDS ANALYSIS
Most will agree that these two teams are on pretty level terms at this point in the year. Florida State probably has the slightly better offense. Florida probably has the slightly better defense.
That's why this is one of the many rivalry games with very close point spreads in Week 13. The line is set at a pick 'em, but that's a number which could easily sway either way by the time this one kicks off.
WHEN THE FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES HAVE THE BALL
The Seminoles aren't pretty offensively, but they have the best weapon on the field in Dalvin Cook, a fringe Heisman Trophy candidate. Cook has effectively played a total of about eight games thanks to a balky hamstring, but he's still averaging 8.0 yards per carry and has a lofty 1,475 yards and 16 scores for the garnet and gold. Jacques Patrick has evolved into the next stud running back in line in Tallahassee as well.
We question FSU's receivers and quarterback, though. The passing game is nothing special with Sean Maguire calling the shots, and really, his only job is to make safe throws to Travis Rudolph, Kermit Whitfield and Bobo Wilson and not put the Seminoles in trouble.
The Gators have been winning games on defense for weeks while their offense has struggled. We've seen the Seminoles get bogged down at times, and live bettors should know that there will likely be some long stretches of this game when the garnet and gold can't get the ball into Florida territory.
WHEN THE FLORIDA GATORS HAVE THE BALL
The Gators have a lot of problems offensively, though. Last season, Treon Harris started this game as a freshman against Florida State and had absolutely nothing going. The only reason Florida scored at all in that game was because Jameis Winston couldn't stop throwing interceptions.
It's literally impossible for these Gators to get to 30 in this game against a Florida State defense which has been awesome and has really overachieved. The Seminoles stood toe-to-toe with the No. 1 team in the land in Clemson on the road, so this test won't be a tough one to pass.
The key for the Gators in live betting is going to be keeping Kelvin Taylor involved. He's literally the only consistent offensive threat in this game, and if he's bottled up at the point of attack as he has been in recent games, it could be all over but the crying.
In a game like this, special teams could play a big factor as well. Florida State has a massive edge here, knowing that Austin Hardin has been atrocious this season for the Gators on field goal attempts, while Roberto Aguayo would probably already be one of the best 10 kickers in the NFL if he played at the next level.
