The Tigers are coming off a big win, upsetting Texas A&M on the road.
They’ll look to get a streak going against a Georgia team that’s been alternating wins and losses since losing Nick Chubb in early October.

ODDS ANALYSIS
The spread has held steady since the odds were released earlier this week. These two teams are evenly matched now that star running back Nick Chubb is out of the equation for Georgia.
The total, meanwhile, has climbed a point to 50.5 as the spread started rather low, still neither offense looks lined up to put major points on the board.
WHEN THE GEORGIA BULLDOGS HAVE THE BALL
Early in the season the Bulldogs’ offense was rolling as sophomore running back Nick Chubb was carrying the team. After tearing the PCL in his left knee early in a game against Tennessee last month, the Bulldogs have gone 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS against the opposition.
In two of those four games, the Bulldogs failed to score in the double-digits though the defense did come through in a game against Missouri to earn them a 9-6 win.
The Georgia passing game was never that strong. The team ranks No. 97 in the nation with 193.4 passing yards per game, but new lead running back Sony Michel doesn’t have the explosiveness of Chubb and is averaging 5.7 yards per carry compared to 8.1 for Chubb, leaving the passing game to make up the difference.
Quarterback Greyson Lambert has completed more than 47% of his passes just once in his last four starts, throwing two interceptions and three touchdowns in that time. Before that, however, he had seven touchdowns and no interceptions in four games.
To make matters worse for Georgia, they’re going against an Auburn team whose defense stepped up last week, holding Texas A&M to just 10 points.
Keep a close eye on Michel early. The Bulldogs have shown an inability on offense without a strong running game. If Michel can penetrate the Tigers defensive line early, look to jump on them to cover. After all, Auburn’s good performance against the Aggies aside, they rank No. 94 nationwide against the run.
WHEN THE AUBURN TIGERS HAVE THE BALL
There’s uncertainty at the quarterback position in Auburn. Sean White took the reins from Jeremy Johnson in late September, but neither really took control of the position until Saturday when Johnson looked poised and collected against Texas A&M, leading the team to the 26-10 victory.
In the game, Johnson only threw the ball 17 times, but completed 13 of those passes for 132 yards and a touchdown, while running the offense effectively.
Running back Jovon Robinson was given the ball 27 times, rushing for 159 yards and a score of his own. That was the junior’s second chance as a featured back after getting 18 touches the week prior and putting up just 91 yards against Ole Miss.
Keep an eye on the quarterback situation. If Johnson gets another start, look at how accurate he looks early. He was prone to interceptions early in the season, giving up six in his first three games which cost him the starting spot.
His performance against the Aggies was impressive, but he’ll need more than one good game to gain back confidence.
If Johnson gets rattled early, look for him to revert to his old ways and jump on the Bulldogs to cover. Also keep a close eye on Robinson. He grabbed attention with his big game against the Aggies and defenses will start planning for him.
BETTING TRENDS AND MATCHUPS
The under is 5-0-1 in the Tigers’ last six home games and 4-1-1 in their last six overall. Meanwhile, the under is 5-1 in the Bulldogs’ last six games.
For those looking to bet on the NCAAF total, the under is a strong choice before the game considering the Tigers and Bulldogs have both stepped it up on defense in recent weeks. For those looking to take advantage of BookMaker’s top-end live betting format, the under could turn into an even better bet if someone is able to get on the scoreboard early.
Don’t let an early touchdown fool you into getting too confident about either offense.
