GAME OF THE WEEK

In a week where TCU will have its toughest game on the road against Oklahoma State, Florida State and Clemson will play for the ACC Atlantic title and there are a number of great undercard games like Duke/North Carolina, Navy/Memphis and Notre Dame/Pittsburgh, there is clearly only one game which everyone has circled, and it's the one game a year CBS gets on primetime.

We'll have to see what happens on Tuesday night when the rankings come out, but the reality is that LSU is going to be one of the top four teams in the land, and Alabama is going to be one of the top three one-loss teams and will surely jump up as the top one-loss team with a win in this one.

Going into Tuscaloosa is never easy to do, particularly at night, but it's not like there hasn't been a team successful in this venue. Ole Miss beat this Alabama team here at Bryant Denny at night just a month and a half ago.

The stakes couldn't be higher in this one – first place in the SEC West, the win which would be the biggest for any team in America, and perhaps even the Heisman Trophy candidacy as well. Leonard Fournette and Derrick Henry could put on a show on Saturday night, though they're both going to have to go against ferocious defenses.

It's interesting that Alabama, in spite of its one loss already, is favored by a full touchdown in this game, proving that LSU isn't even looked upon as the better of these two teams at this point.

WEEK 10 COLLEGE FOOTBALL ODDS NOTES

-There's only one undefeated ATS team left in America, and you're going to see a lot of it in the next few weeks. Toledo is playing on Tuesday night on national television, marking the first of three straight Tuesday night games for the Rockets. Toledo is favored by eight in the first of these games against Northern Illinois to kick off Week 10.

-There actually isn't a team favored by 30 points this week, the first time we've seen that happen in a single week this year. The biggest favorite on the board is Louisiana Tech, of all teams. The Bulldogs are laying 29 against North Texas.

-Florida State is going to be an underdog against Clemson on Saturday afternoon in Death Valley, though there is no line on the board yet thanks to the fact that Everett Golson's status is still up in the air thanks to a concussion. This is going to be the first time the Seminoles are dogs in an ACC game since 2011, a game which was also played here at Clemson.
