Down goes No. 2. And No. 3. And No. 4.
And now, we have chaos on our hands.
It's tough to tell just how much the College Football Playoff will be shaken up by what happened in Week 11 of the season with Clemson, Michigan and Washington all be handed their first losses, but the one lesson that bettors all learned is that there's no such thing as a sure thing for the teams at the top in college football. Is more havoc on the horizon? We know that the answer to that is surely yes, but who will be the next team to get picked off by a relative unknown? The Week 12 college football betting lines might be giving us some of those answers.

Games of the Week
Washington State at Colorado – Saturday 3:30 p.m. ET
The one thing that Washington loss did last week was really open the door for both Washington State and Colorado just a bit. These two teams are still definite outsiders in the chase for the College Football Playoff, but both could make a case to still get there by winning out.
The Cougs are off to their best start in conference play in their history at 7-0, and they know at worst, they're going to be playing next week against Washington with a spot in the Pac-12 title game on the line. Colorado also knows that destiny is going to be in its hands against Utah next week. This game though, is a CFP eliminator for both.
Points are surely going to be on the board as well, though this is a good mix-up between Colorado's strong pass defense and Washington State's elite offense. The Buffs are allowing under 200 yards per game this season at home; Luke Falk is averaging over 400 passing yards per game on the road. Something has to give, and whichever side does is likely to handed a season-crippling loss.
Oklahoma at West Virginia – Saturday 8 p.m. ET
Oklahoma had to think that its season was over with at 1-2, but the team has rallied in tremendous fashion and now has 14 wins in a row in Big XII play. The Sooners could win the Big XII this week with a win and an Oklahoma State loss, but the fact of the matter is that they're probably in better shape if the Pokes pull off a mild upset at TCU earlier in the day. West Virginia meanwhile, has snuck back into the CFP conversation as well thanks to the fact that it's merely a one-loss team standing in a power conference. Its schedule is still weak though, and even winning out guarantees nothing without having a conference title game to fall back on.
On the field, this should be a good one. It's one of the biggest games we've seen in Morgantown in quite some time, but we're not sure how Dana Holgorsen's defense is going to react going against one of the truly elite offenses in the nation. Baker Mayfield is still rallying for his Heisman Trophy campaign, though the best he can probably do is second best to Lamar Jackson at this point. He'll need to put on a real show here in what could be a barnburner in Morgantown.
