GAME OF THE WEEK

In a week with three massive matchups and a number of great undercard games, we have to go to the Mitten to find the best game of the weekend. The Big House is going to be rocking for the Wolverines and the Spartans in the biggest game this rivalry has had in quite some time.

Yes, Michigan is a one-loss team, but it is largely looked upon as one of the best one-loss teams in America right now considering the fact that that one defeat was at Utah, a team which is suddenly garnering all sorts of first place votes.

The Spartans have yet to cover a game this year even though they are still undefeated, and that's why many believe all of a sudden that Big Blue can – and perhaps even should – win this game. Michigan has opened up at -6.5 in Ann Arbor.

WEEK 7 COLLEGE FOOTBALL ODDS NOTES

-South Alabama will play on national television at the FBS level for the first time in its history on Tuesday night against Arkansas State. The Jaguars have opened at +6.

-There are no 30+ point favorites on the board for the first time all season long in college football. The biggest opening line favorite was Western Kentucky at -29.5 at North Texas.

-Massachusetts is favored by six at home against Kent State this weekend, marking the fourth time it has been a favorite in the last three seasons. The Minutemen are already 3-0 SU and ATS in those games.

-Florida is a 6.5-point underdog on the road in Baton Rouge. The Gators have covered four straight games in which they were underdogs dating back to last year, but what's so notable about that is the fact that they have won three of those four games outright.

-Texas A&M has been an underdog four times in SEC play here at Kyle Field. The team hasn't won any of those games. The last time the Aggies won a game at home in which they were underdogs was against Nebraska way back in 2010.
