College Football:

Memphis vs. Tulsa, Friday 8:00 p.m. ET

Opening College Football Odds: Over/Under 72
Current College Football Odds: Over/Under 77

This is an interesting sell for total bettors. We know that there's a lot of potential for these teams to score points in bunches. Memphis has played a few really wild games, but its last two duels came in at 61 and 41 total points, games which easily stayed under the total. Tulsa meanwhile, has played its last three games to 47, 58 and 62 points, also all games of which finished at least two scores under the number. However, due to the fact that the potential is here for explosiveness, over bettors have run this total all the way up to 77, five points higher than the opening number. Last year, the game went over the total between these two, but the total number of points hit just 60.

Clemson vs. Miami, Saturday 12:00 p.m. ET

Opening College Football Odds: Clemson -4.5

Current College Football Odds: Clemson -7

The Tigers are certainly on upset alert this week. They have only played one game on the road this year, a game which they escaped from Louisville by a field goal. Miami has been dying for an upset of a Top 10 team over the course of the last few seasons, and this might be the last thing that can save Al Golden's job. The Hurricanes are going to end up going all out to win this one. That said, there's a lot of betting traffic on Clemson in this game, pushing the spread all the way up from 4.5 to a full touchdown.

Iowa State vs. Baylor, Saturday 12:00 p.m. ET

Opening College Football Odds: Over/Under 81

Current College Football Odds: Over/Under 78

The oddsmakers might've finally found what the number is to set in a Baylor game that might be just a tad too high. This game against Iowa State opened up at 81 and has since come down to 78. It's the first time that a Baylor total has come down this year by any substantial amount. Still, it's tough to bet against the Bears and their offense. They're averaging 8.9 yards per play, a whopping 1.1 yards per play more than anyone else in America. ISU can score some points. The team has put up at least 31 in half of its games. If the Cyclones can get there again in this one, this game is going to go past the total, too. It's just really tough to see the Bears not scoring at least 50.

SMU vs. South Florida, Saturday 4:00 p.m. ET

Opening College Football Odds: Over/Under 65

Current College Football Odds: Over/Under 59

The biggest move in a total this week comes in a South Florida game, of all things. This game opening up at 65 is notable due to the fact that the Bulls haven't had a game with a total in the 60s since 2007. Considering that and the fact that the last two weeks, they've had totals in the 40s, it's not surprising that this number has come down a tremendous six points. Do keep in mind though, that this SMU team hasn't played a game with a total in the 50s yet this year, and five of those six games have gone past the total.

Kansas State vs. Texas, Saturday 12:00 p.m. ET

Opening College Football Odds: Texas -3.5
Current College Football Odds: Texas -7

The Longhorns were one of the top fades in America over the course of the first several weeks of the year, but all of a sudden, one win over Oklahoma, and everyone believes they've turned the corner. Oh by the way, it helps that the last time we saw these Wildcats, they were getting clocked by that same OU team 55-0. Texas hasn't had much luck at home of late, but bettors believe it can get the job done by at least a touchdown in this one against a team which beat it 23-0 last season in Manhattan.
