It's Halloween time! Before bettors put on their costumes and head out for the night, there will be plenty of opportunities for making some cash on the gridiron. But will the college football docket give you tricks or treats?

Marshall vs. Charlotte, Saturday 12:00 p.m. ET
Opening College Football Odds: Marshall -20
Current College Football Odds: Marshall -16.5
The sharpness! It hurts! It hurts!!! The Thundering Herd are garnering well over 75 percent of the bets in this game at BookMaker, yet the line has come crashing down steadily throughout the week. The number to beat for Marshall is now just 16.5, and we wouldn't be surprised if that continues to drop with sharp money. It's so tough to justify backing the 49ers in this one. They're 2-5 and have had a history of getting their doors blown off this year, losing by an average of 16.1 points per game. Marshall meanwhile, is 7-1 and is still unbeaten in Conference USA play at 4-0.
Nebraska vs. Purdue, Saturday 12:00 p.m. ET
Opening College Football Odds: Nebraska -11
Current College Football Odds: Nebraska -7.5
The Cornhuskers have really turned into a wreck this year all of a sudden. This is what you get for not being satisfied with going 9-3 every year, Nebraska. Mike Riley, who was always an average coach at Oregon State, came to town and turned this perennial nine-win team into one which might not even make a darn bowl game this year. The Boilermakers have been gritty at times, and they've hung in there against the big boys. Many think they've got an upset brewing on Halloween in West Lafayette, too.
Georgia State vs. Arkansas State, Saturday 7:00 p.m. ET
Opening College Football Odds: Over/Under 66
Current College Football Odds: Over/Under 59.5
After playing three straight overs in the middle of the season, Georgia State has suddenly played two straight games way under the number, putting up a total of 50 points combined with Ball State and 40 with Appalachian State. This number has dropped because of the presence of the Panthers for sure. Arkansas State has scored at least 37 points in three games in a row after being held to just seven by Toledo, and it can run up and down the field in a hurry. Bettors are wagering that the oddsmakers just flat out made a mistake here and gave too much credit to the Red Wolves offense and not enough credence to the way Georgia State has tended to play.
Oklahoma vs. Kansas, Saturday 3:30 p.m. ET
Opening College Football Odds: Oklahoma -36
Current College Football Odds: Oklahoma -39.5
Poor Kansas. The Jayhawks opened up as the biggest underdogs of the week even though they're going to be playing this one in Lawrence, and the bets have poured in against them. Kansas has already been outscored by 48 by Oklahoma State and 59 by Baylor this season, and that doesn't even include the 32-point beating Memphis put on it or the 25-point thumping at the hands of Iowa State. Bob Stoops will name the final score in this game, and bettors are hoping that he won't stop until he's got a six-score cushion. Remember though, the Jayhawks did hold Texas Tech to just 30 points in their last home game, so defense might not be totally optional.
South Carolina vs. Texas A&M, Saturday 12:00 p.m. ET
Opening College Football Odds: Over/Under 50
Current College Football Odds: Over/Under 57
The A&M offense has been completely MIA over the course of the last few weeks, and Kyle Allen went from a man who could be a dark horse Heisman Trophy contender to completely obliterating any chance the Aggies had of going to the playoff. The Aggies get the dumpster fire known as South Carolina this week, a team which hasn't scored more than 31 in a single game in 2015 and has been held to 24 or below in six of seven tries. Still, bettors want the over at what feels like a relatively high number, and we wouldn't bet against them being right.
