Both the Bowling Green Falcons and Georgia Southern Eagles lost their head coaches leading into their bowl games, and that could put just a bit of a damper in what had the potential to be an explosive game at the GoDaddy Bowl.

ODDS ANALYSIS
All signs point to Bowling Green winning a high-scoring game by a comfortable margin on Wednesday. The Falcons opened up at -7 and have since moved up to -8, while the total has taken a rise as well from 65 to 66.5.
KEY MISMATCH
There's wild mismatches all over the field in this game on both sides, but what we're really going to focus on here is the triple option which the Eagles are going to run.
Let's not forget that this is the same team which beat Florida a few years ago without throwing a single pass on the road in the Swamp. It can be done. The Eagles average 6.5 yards per carry and average running the ball 55 times per game.
Their offense is quite easy to execute well when you've got a great quarterback, and Kevin Ellison is that man. He's got great backs in Matt Breida and L.A. Ramsby who combined for over 2,300 yards and 28 TDs on the ground, but he can surely make some things happen, too.
Bowling Green has an offense which can surely cover for its defense's shortcomings, but keeping the Eagles off the scoreboard in this game will end up being really tough.
KEY STAT
5 – The number of interceptions which Matt Johnson has thrown in his last four games. The senior threw 43 TDs this year against just eight picks, but the fact that he's made some mistakes with the football in recent games is a bit of a concern to us heading into the GoDaddy Bowl.
BETTING ANGLE
Bowling Green's offense has been a heck of a lot of fun to watch in the Dino Babers era, but there's definitely a sense that the oddsmakers have caught on. The Falcons have played four straight under games, including keeping a 44-28 game under the total by a hook against Toledo in the middle of November.
ANALYSIS AND ODDS PREDICTION
If you like points, you've come to the right place. The fact that Bowling Green has been keeping games under is a good omen for us in this one, as that has kept this total out of the 80s where it likely legitimately belongs.
Georgia Southern is going to hang in there for a bit, but in the end, it's going to have to make some plays in the passing game, and it isn't going to be able to do that.
Expect to see Johnson go out on a high in a game which he throws for over 400 yards and at least five touchdowns, and that'll be enough to give the Falcons a win by a relatively comfortable margin in the GoDaddy Bowl over a GSU team making its first ever bowl appearance.
