The SEC East has been pretty unpredictable this season, but one team that’s lived up to its potential has been the Florida Gators. They sit in first place in the conference and will aim to stay there with a tough road win over the Arkansas Razorbacks in Week 10 of the college football season.
Arkansas has been hard to figure out this season, and that could be dangerous for a Gators team which is favored but must know not to take the Razorbacks lightly.
Kickoff for this regular season Week 10 game is set for Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. ET at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Odds Analysis
The majority of the bettors believe this line is too high, as nearly 63 percent of the action has come in on the Razorbacks to cover at home.
The scoring total is low on account of Florida, as it defense is elite and its offense doesn’t knock the doors off its hinges. The gamblers believe in the defense as the “under” is the more popular choice to the tune of 75 percent.
Arkansas is 5-3 straight up this season and 3-5 against the spread. The Razorbacks have been an underdog five times this season and have covered twice.
Florida is 6-1 straight up and has covered three times in its seven tries. The Gators have been favored in all but one game, with a 3-3 record against the spread in those contests.
Matchup to Watch
Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen against the Florida pass defense. Allen will have his hands full this week with the No. 1 ranked pass defense in the country.
Last week, Florida held Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason to just 143 yards. Eason was hurried 16 times and completed less than 50 percent of his passes, finishing at 15-of-33.
Allen has thrown for 2,048 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. The sophomore stood up to the test against Alabama earlier this season throwing for 400 yards and three touchdowns although he did have three interceptions.
Key Stat
11.7. That’s how many points opposing offenses are averaging against this Florida defense. The Gators rank No. 2 in the nation for points against.
In last week’s win 24-10 win over Georgia, the Gators held the Bulldogs scoreless in the second half and allowed just 47 yards in the final two quarters and 164 yards on the night.
Tennessee, which defeated Florida 38-28 on September 24th, is the only team to score more than two touchdowns on the Gators this season. The other six opponents have only scored 44 points against the Gators combined.
Free ATS Pick
Arkansas has faced five ranked teams this season with varied results. The Razorbacks have pulled some upsets, been competitive and also gotten blown out. The Gators aren’t dominant on both sides of the ball, which can keep this game close, but it seems like Florida should come out on top.
The Gators have had a tough time putting away opponents but nevertheless enter with a shiny record and a No. 11 national ranking. The Gators have a solid running game, and that’s been needed with quarterback Luke Del Rio struggling with inconsistency at times.
Florida doesn’t have the air attack to win this one easily, but look for a couple of big defensive plays to help stem any comeback attempts by Arkansas.
This one might not be pretty, but it should go the Gators’ way as they remain the favorite to win the SEC East and make it to the conference championship game. Take Florida to win this game straight up and against the spread. The “under” is the safe play as there will not be a lot of points scored in this contest.
