The Washington State Cougars just keep on winning. After a pair of non-conference losses to begin the season, they have won seven consecutive games and are surprisingly tied with Washington atop the Pac-12 North. Washington State can stay there by taking care of business at home against the California Golden Bears in Week 11 of the season.
There are going to be a ton of points in this one but even so the Cougars are a comfortable favorite to pick up this victory. Washington State will aim to keep its magical conference ride rolling with a home win over the Bears.

The bettors have fallen in love with Washington State, especially after a shellacking of Arizona last week, as more than 81 percent of the early money is heading toward the Cougars to cover.

Luke Falk -- California has a star quarterback in Davis Webb who has helped his team put up boatloads of points this season, but he’s only the second-best signal-caller in this showdown.
Falk, the Washington State quarterback, has completed 318-of-429 passes this season for 3,237 yards with 28 touchdowns and only five interceptions.
Falk has thrown for more than 350 yards in six games this season and it would actually be unexpected for him to throw for less than that in this contest. California’s run defense is its biggest issue but the Cougars will stick to what they do best and throw the ball around the yard.
Look-Ahead Situation
Washington State will aim to keep rolling in this one, and Cal is good enough to get its attention. However, right around the corner sits two games that will decide whether or not the Cougars will remain in contention for the conference title.
Washington State travels to play at No. 15 Colorado on November 19 and then hosts No. 4 Washington to end the regular season. The game against the Huskies will be one of the most anticipated in the storied rivalry between these schools if the Pac-12 North title is on the line, but that can only be guaranteed with a victory in this game against Cal.
The Cougars have done a good job of staying in the moment and have to avoid the pull of looking ahead to two titanic matchups to close the season.
